Lol, camp mode wasn't always a thing. It was something I tried and seemed to work. Again, it's probably not relevant with Camp Mode anymore.

The only reason would be if Camp Mode uses too much energy for your liking. I did this before Camp mode came out on my M3. Probably don't need to do this anymore.

Camp mode works. Leaving the door cracked for continuous sound has worked on multiple Teslas on our street. I've never done this but the car uses weight sensors in the seat to detect if someone is sitting in them. You might be able to leverage this as well.
