Are outlets in the bed active / live while driving?

Confirmed. I've been testing this to confirm if I can use the console outlet for a 12VDC power supply and fuze box in the kick panel. As long as you have " Enable Cabin Outlets on Entry " selected they will turn on when you open the door and turn off when you close the door. The outlets do...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

I had a hard time thinking they tapped an analog line but thats what this appears to be. I'm no audio tech but who knows what type of loss occurs doing this. It's interesting we were all too old to notice the tweeter wasn't working for a while... :) As troublesome as the camera tap was in the...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

I've been digging into this and found out some interesting details on the Audio system tech. Validate all this for yourself if you decide to do any of this. First the short term fix for this harness issue is going to be DIY as Hansshow gave me the discount but no timeline for a harness...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

The fix here is Hannshow providing a harness with the pass through for pin 8. Sometimes the deeper you go with Grok, or other AI, the more validation you need to do. But I asked about other reliable power sources an it spit out: Passenger Kick Panel / Footwell Area (Non-X0930 Sources): Some...

Powering Accessories Struggles - Don't let this happen to you!

I just received my V2 Rearview last week as I was planning to upgrade from V1. I used a continuity tester and rang out the harness and all wires ring through except pin 8. The female side of the connector has a yellow wire but it does not pass through to the male side pin 8. Pin 8 in the...

Installing dash screen and streaming rearview mirror

Has anyone confirmed the power that is being spliced into by the V2 Mirror? Would like to know if they are tapping into the 48v or something lower. I like the idea that the v2 mirror will now power off when powering off the vehicle and would like to tie into this supply for my radar detector...

Show us an accessory we’ve never seen before! MFZ Challenge thread.

I looked at and tried some grab handles but didn't like the readily available options so DIY'd this one to help pull myself up into the bed. It has a magnetic handle that keeps it closed when not in use. This was a DIY project using some leftover aluminum bar stock, and I'll share the...

    Phone Key Disconnect Issue

I was running into the same issues as you. I tried mutliple phones, disconnecting they phone key, reconnecting,.... many, many times. The issue was intermittant at first but eventually I was only able to open and run the truck with the keycard. I ended up adding it to other issues and...

    Virginia cybertruck bed interior oxidizing

Mark of the Cyberbeast, Youtube, did a video on this a few weeks ago. Project Farm, Youtube, did a head to head test with several of these coatings about a month ago. This product performed and lasted the longest in his tests: CERAKOTE® Ceramic Trim Coat Kit - Quick Plastic Trim Restorer -...

Memory seat recall no longer working

Hi, I've had this issue after a seat replacement when the recline motor stopped. Try typing calibrate in the search area and you fill find an option to recalibrate your seat and mirrors. Should fix the issue.

Considering Spare tire without rim - any issues?

I carry a full spare in the bed and have used a ramp to get it in and out as well. I just don't carry the ramp all the time. I have a repair kit but nothing for the sidewall. I fixed a SxS tire after reviewing this: The 3m PR40 is currently on sale $13.08...

    Aftermarket Mattress for CYBERTENT

A 3 to 4" foam mattress topper can work. None of the standard sizes fit perfectly but I'm sure you all have one of those custome mattress outlets close by. They likely can cut a 4" foam mattress topper at the exact size.

Connectivity and streaming lost when driving

There still is an issue that is similar but not exactly as you discribed. The .8 update didn't resolve it. As you leave your home network, wifi, the CT stays connected rather then converting to LTE and the display reads Network Error. You can wait a long time for this to resolve on its own...

OOPSY - I backed up into a nice old lady's driver side door with minor bumper scratch to my cybertruck.

Many many years ago I was traveling with a Dupont sales rep and he always backed into parking spaces. He also had a plaque on his company car dashboard that read something like 500,000 safe miles. I asked him why he backed into parking spots and he said it was a company policy explaining that...
