Delivery was 5/2 and I failed to check the wiper. Turns out it does not work at all (never has) and I opened a service request. At first Tesla was communicating as if it needed to be "checked". Then suddenly said, we won't have the part until next week we need to push your service appointment...
Having seen people posting about having the PowerShare option show up in the CT and on the mobile app, and in some cases actually using the functionality either in a real outage or testing it, I chatted with Tesla support today.
I have 2024.14.7 installed and don't see the option. From what I...
ProtectaClear was 100% going to be my path until I saw some posts here that seemed to highlight some of the challenges of getting the finish consistent. Since that, I’ve been on the fence. Interested in your process and what you learned along the way that may be helpful.
Just had delivery this week on Thurs and have - 2024.8.100
Put the truck on WiFi and changed the setting to Advanced to see if it will update to 2024.14.3
Delivered on Thursday with a few things that need to be addressed.
1) Some scuff marks that may need to be buffed out in a couple places
2) Minor alignment of the passenger side roof panel back to the rear quarter of the vault
3) Wiper DOA - forgot to check it at delivery, but figured it out...
Same boat - picked the truck up yesterday (it's awesome) and the wiper is not working at all. Unfortunately, I forgot to check it at delivery. VIN 9xxx and I'm not sure if something changed at some point because it seems like this would have been an issue earlier on. From reading posts, many are...
Messaged them in the app and they offered Wed the 1st for delivery. Of course the one week I have the least flexibility with my work schedule, but going to try to make it happen that evening if possible.
Thanks! That's helpful. I've been trying to estimate timing. I had thought about running over there at some point just to check things out. Interesting on the accelerator mods not being done. I'll be curious to see if mine has the mod or if they did something else at the factory to correct it.
So got my VIN today! The Duluth SC is on the paperwork, so I’m assuming that is where delivery will be. No date yet.
… and my wife texts me a pic of the first one she, or I, have seen in the wild - anyone have pizza for lunch today? ?

The universal wall connector is the interface from the CT to PowerShare. It would be possible to to buy and have another wall connector installed on the property, but it likely would not be able to also support PowerShare. From what I have seen on the V3 gateway, there is only one communication...
Yes, the universal charger is included as part of the PowerShare install. That will get shipped directly to the installer that Tesla assigns. Equipment is included in the FS package but install for the AWD is at the customer cost. Beast orders include a $4k credit for electrical work.
