There is more oddity about this story.
Accident happened on Feb 27. He is just now reporting it on Reddit a few days ago.
Had not heard back from Tesla. Just submitted to Tesla to get the data yesterday. 3 months later. Hmmm.
Insurance paid off his lease.

Think that the guy fell asleep at the wheel. Head bang into steering wheel and veer off road. Now blames FSD.
Analysis?
Yet another missed opportunityā¦why not make an indent on the side for step up to access bed from side, esp given the slope design! CT is a ground up designā¦all of these could have easily been designed.
Indent on the side with rubber pad to step. Design a pop out stand from the driverās side...
Sorry, but this is ridiculous. Every 1/2 ton truck that I know has some mechanism to get into bed. Darn it, let us install a kick out step or something at least!
Tesla design team never thought of this?!
it is like designing a two story house but forgetting to build a stair to get to it.
BUT all that requires interconnect services b/w companies (Amazon, tesla, Apple, Ring, Android OEM, etc.).
I am new toTesla but i donāt think that Tesla connects with anyone else. Starlink is only for overhead. Canāt see into houses.
Be careful. This conclusion maybe false.
Factory speakers of modern cars with good system have Neodymium magnets which are small and highly efficient!
Aftermarket speakers from (cheaper) 3rd parties may use Ferrite magnets and thus big and heavy. These magnets are cheaper and less efficient...
