This mod has been with me x 1 month thru hot weather in TX. Over 2500 miles of road time.
The difference with this vs prior attempt is that this has suction power AND sticky gel.
It attaches to the back of the display. My V1 gen 2 bottom has the included MagSafe metal ring attached. So I can...
I use PPF for the past 6 months. Stays on. No worries about water getting in. I even power wash my car every weekend. No issue with PPF. Still the same original one.
Nothing else to do. Weight sucks. Heavy machines sink in mud or sand. Kills momentum. Not much you can do.
Best thing to have? Off-road traction board.
Yeah not much rear protection with bed cover closed. But somehow the arrows still work half decent!
Radar vs laser. Depends on location. I see more radars than laser. But yes if laser tags you, it is over. I have had a few times where my radar went off for laser bc the laser bounced off the...

Found this phone mount for windshield. But it works perfect for my V1 (or any detector)!!
Very high quality!! Solid pieces. Suction cup to...
No, that was not my point. Torque vectoring is NOT for off-roading. It is 100% for on-road handling around a corner. (I think that you're referring to A-TRAC in Toyota off-road talk, which Torque vectoring is not...similar concept but different implementation.)
What I mean is that torque...
FWD not issue. Torque vectoring.
Electronic rear locker does fine. Now if you are rock crawling every weekend, then you may have a (weak) point. Otherwise, torque vectoring is far more useful and practical for a big truck like ours.
And yes, I used to rock crawl with mechanical lockers.
I use DeWalt tire inflator: https://a.co/d/0bDCEpVv
DeWalt AC power cord for the inflator: https://a.co/d/02C9F1Jh
These two are always in my CT trunk.
Then on long trips, I just throw in DeWalt battery pack for convenience…but the AC cord is always there for backup.
For me, I plan on sticking to stock tires...in my case OEM AT tires. Maximize quietness and efficiency. Longevity in a tire would be nice, but I am not willing to give up quietness nor efficiency.
Has there been ANY Foundation Series CT that has this ANC option available after software update? If so, then what tire (AT or AS) came from factory? CB or AWD?
Me: FS CB with AT tires. No ANC. Have driven it around 700+ miles since update.
