I haven't had the brake stabbing (yet), but I have had it waggle out of the lane on the highway at 65 mph, just to avoid the squiggly repair of a crack on an asphalt highway. It seemed to follow the narrow strip of tar they use to fill the crack.
I also don't get why they are such sticklers...
You mean like in Elon Musk's tweet on July 15, 2021:
"No door handles. Car recognizes you & opens door."
Of course it was supposed to tow 15,000 lbs, have a range 0f 500 miles and cost $80k 🤷
It signals way too early. I've had nav guidance say something like 'in 1000 feet turn left', then within a second or two the turn signal goes on. In one case it signals well before it reaches the intersection *before* the intended left turn intersection. And speaking of left turns, FSD routinely...
FWIW, after installing 14.2.1, the sunglass issue is gone, I haven't had a nag yet after several trips on FSD. IMHO this confirms that it was a software regression that took several months to rectify. I shouldn't be surprised because after all "It's a Tesla".
I just had an interesting FSD interaction (FSD 14.2.1, installed a couple of days ago). I encountered a pickup truck, with a lady standing outside the passenger door, and a man on a bike on the sidewalk opposite the driver's side that you don't see in the clip. I was in FSD patiently waiting for...
From what I have been reading the infrared illuminators engage in dark and near-dark conditions. Apparently a smartphone camera can 'see' the glow from the IR illuminators but the human eye cannot. I tested this while parked in a garage and didn't see the lights from the smartphone camera but I...
I have had issues with FSD and sunglasses since 13.2.9. I drove from Maryland to Arizona with sunglasses on, using FSD and the only major issues were due to poor right and left turns (of which there were many, and I reported as many as I could). On my return trip with FSD 13.2.9 I was getting...
When this first started happening I was trying to be as still as possible looking straight ahead and only moving my eyes to quickly glance down at the screen occasionally to check for the nag. The only thing that worked was when I removed my sunglasses.
My truck nags me constantly day or night since 13.2.9 because I wear sunglasses (I don't wear sunglasses at night). It wasn't a problem on an approx 2000 mile drive with FSD (Supervised) enabled when I had 13.2.8 installed. I tried three different pairs of sunglasses, two with dark lenses, one...
This was mentioned on this forum a while back but here is my setup for the trip between winter and summer homes. The containers are sealed and are much more weather resistant than just the tonneau cover. On the plus side, the smuggler's bay is still accessible when the bins are fully loaded. I...
I have had two short drives, about 3 1/2 miles each, the first drive I let it traverse the 'preferred' route on the navigation screen (not my preference) the second time I chose an alternate route (more on that later). The trip follows a two lane divided roadway with a left turn lane in between...
Yes, I would agree, I have a few other items in the service appointment that should be addressed. Oddly enough one of the items they tacked on to the appointment is 'Update Vehicle Software to Command Compliant Front Parking Lamp Brightness' which, I was under the impresion would be/is addressed...
Thanks, just power cycled the truck using this procedure and the Data Sharing pane still appears. I started to submit a service appointment for this issue and while describing the issue the 'Assist Summary' confirms this is a known issue and they suggest setting up a service appintment...
After installing 2025.38.6, the Data Sharing pane pops up on the right hand side of the touchscreen every single time the truck unlocks. I've checked boxes and used the 'Accept Selected' option many times, I've dismissed the pane by using the X in the upper left corner, I've soft rebboted the UI...
Happens to me almost all the time, and left hand turns too (when it doesn't decide to turn into the oncoming traffic lane on a left). FSD is virtually unusable for me for this and some other reasons.
I received an email that stated my light bar was ready to install back in August. The nearest service center was three hours away at the time so I deferred until I reached the civilized world. I had a handful of items in the service appointment to include installing the light bar. When I picked...
True, but I guess the point I am making is this is a regression and at this rate FSD (Unsupervised) can't come soon enough (if it makes it to the Cybertruck at all).
Back in February I drove from Maryland to Arizona on a five day journey almost all of it using FSD (Supervised) wearing sunglasses. I got a few nags back then but obliged. On a return trip in April I couldn't go more than five to ten minutes without being nagged, 'attention montioring...
So a little update on my trip, I used FSD quite a bit the first two days, there were a couple of disengagements but overall it makes the drive so much easier. I made it to Memphis, TN yesterday just before the winter storm hit. When I ordered my beast I chose the all season tires because I...
After 45.32.10 was installed the key card started to work.
I got the 45.32.10 update last week and the key cards now work. I also learned that in order to add the Apple Watch as a key you need to place a key card in the card reader. Once I did that and tapped on the add watch as key button on...
