Well, I have been holding off on the update, go for it? Mainly holding off to see what other issues people report. I have only put on like 100 miles with last update.

It would be reasonable to assume that this update is the recall fix for the DRLs…anyone open to taking pictures before and after the update?

The 1000’s of people that were being mercilessly blinded by unduly bright parking lights will probably find this to be an enormous relief and stop badmouthing the Cybertruck. Shew. Thank goodness.

I just got this tonight, I'll check in the morning to see if it is anything noticeable.

I can’t tell if it changed the lights. Are we talking about the light bar or the lights underneath that change into turn signals? I think those lights might be more dim now, but the light bar looks the same to me.

I believe it’s the lightbar that is now dimmer once the update is done

Just installed it and I think it is much better now. Before I couldn't tell the headlights were doing anything against the garage door. Now I clearly see them and they are brighter than the front DRL.

So does anyone who can educate me know what the actual change is to the headlights?

It’s not a change to the headlights. It’s a change to the light bar.

Commentary on X is that it now looks like the boring, “soft light” F150 Lightning lightbar but I haven’t driven tonight to check myself!

The parking lights are down by the turn signals. They were too bright. Now, they aren't. The light bar on the hood is NOT a DLRL. It's cosmetic.

Fairly sure in Canada DRLs are required on the front. That's why you see Canadians driving around with lights on in the daytime.

Anyone else have their CT start to cut right hand turns too close and hit the right rear tire on curbs. Began maybe a week or two ago.
Happens to me almost all the time, and left hand turns too (when it doesn't decide to turn into the oncoming traffic lane on a left). FSD is virtually unusable for me for this and some other reasons.

Everyone with in Update 2025.38.3 recall is fixed.

Tesla’s solution is a textbook example of its software-driven advantage. Just nine days after first noticing the issue, Tesla investigated, reported, fixed and deployed the fix in software update 2025.38.3 (and later). Owners simply need to install the OTA update, to make sure their vehicle meets lighting regulations.
