It turns out I needed to remove the cover to scan an interior QR code. Those of you having trouble might try this. The one near the breaker acted like was the correct one but wouldn't finish the phone pairing.
Thanks for your reply which got me digging deeper in the instructions.
I had similar timing and experience to you accept my Tesla app seems to be one revision behind for off-grid functionality. I post that since it took me a while to figure out why I couldn't get it to work. I'm not sure why my Android phone hasn't picked up the new. 45 version but I assume it will...
There's a small gap at each end, so yes. Hard to think this gap was that large for water, but in fairness I never used my F-150 this way. These gaps might be common. I actually bought something called Gap Shield thinking I could mount to the tailgate in a way that allowed access to the smugglers...
After posting I had a minor brainwave, I used 1"x2" foam in the handle area. That blocked up the rest of the gap. See pics.
My main concern is friction rolling the strip off, so I used adhesive promoter. The strip is cheap and comes with extra, so you can always try without the promoter and...
Off-roading resulted in a huge amount of dust on everything in my truck bed. My wife's wheelchair looked like I had pushed it down a dirt hill on every surface except for the wheels. Although there are seals on the sides of the tailgate, if you look at the bottom there's a significant gap. Maybe...
Mine didn't have that symptom but keeps wandering completely out of the lane to the left, especially a yellow line left lane on the freeway. Previously it always had great lane discipline. Lots of "what happened" reports.
Heavy mass is not your friend on the track, even for a track day experience. Wear and tear expenses and vehicle dynamics make heavy vehicles a scary and expensive choice,. A problem at speed with a 7000 lb vehicle would be terrifying for everyone, especially anyone else on the track. Rent a...
I really like the look of their system and that it doesn't use the hitch but the $5200 price for bumper, swing arm and carrier give me pause. I think this is better than the roof for aero and access.
Cool setup! Yeah, when you need total vault access the tire has to go above. I also needed vertical clearance to load a wheelchair into the bed, so I couldn't have anything mounted in position four or I would have to remove it each time the wheelchair went in and out. I custom modified prototype...
I am also a racecar driver so I might offer that more off-road tailored tires are not the best for canyon carving or launching a tri-motor. Your pavement contact patch is smaller and stiffer sidewalls who will make this not good. A more open tread block will lead to feathering and other problems...
I got a good 25% off deal on them from America's Tire. Last year's models sometimes get good discounts. I usually check Simple Tire, Tire Rack, and America's Tire when I need rubber. Read they were nearly identical.
I will probably never install my wheel covers, I think they say to remove off-road anyway. Sorry, can't tell you about interference. I like the look of my cheap plastic center hub and lug nut covers.
Executive summary: Do it if you off-road at all for better grip and confidence/ruggedness.
Upgraded my tires to the more off-road capable BF Goodrich k02 (k03 nearly identical). I imagine people might be interested in cybertruck specific results. Although I haven't done apples to apples...
Tidal really shines on excellent recordings, unfortunately many recordings are quite poor. For good recording Tidal is significantly better than Spotify premium for me. Interestingly, some of the best quality recordings can be many decades old, Telarc, Reference Recordings... Try Etta James...
I brought my truck in today for this issue, the service advisor said that all the newer Tesla vehicles seem to suffer from this, not just the Cyber truck. He said once the service is complete, they don't seem to come back with the same problem. It seems as if Tesla made a change in materials...
Fwiw mine did this today for the first time in SF Bay area. Got my truck in March, seems an odd and unfortunate miss for Tesla engineers if it's generic. I read with interest the idea of a fan or mitigation in the camera box. Any idea that this might be a software problem or part failure? I'll...
