you will want to keep the window closed if you drive on a dry dirt road. A lot of dust gets in the bed.

using a smoke wand doesn't give you the whole picture. it shows a tiny area's impact but a lot of the drag is what is happening feet away from the body. I might remove my mirrors but I would expect the drag reduction to be such a small reduction as to be invisible.

I ordered some black leather vinyl with a self-stick on the back and it looks and works perfectly. I was very lucky in that it is a third black color in the mix but they complement each other.
