PLA is a lot more resilient than people give it credit for, especially if it is not weight-bearing when it's hot. Temperatures below 150F shouldn't be an issue. Since this isn't inside your car, it's likely not a problem. Although, if it was inside, then you'd have temperature protection anyway...

As an ex-jeep owner, I thought this lockbox was a no-brainer. Then I realized the CT is a saferoom on wheels. The only people I'd need to have a lockbox against would be those already in my car, but I don't travel with people I don't trust. Besides, the glovebox has a pin lock option anyway...

I'm hoping you can help me understand this because no one wants to explain it to me. Tesla has seamless navigation built right in, and it's done so that you can see whatever additional info you need. So why do people feel the need to mount phones and tablets in their cars for navigation?
