First Cybertrucks in Tesla stores now! @ San Diego & San Jose first

Most of the people I met today were not Tesla owners, but planned to be 'soon'. Women seemed to hate it Men loved it Kids said, "Is that real?"

First Cybertrucks in Tesla stores now! @ San Diego & San Jose first

I took about 60 photos today at 50 MP, hoping for good opportunities to zoom in and catch details. The glare on the windows made for horrible interior shots. I noticed the dual hexagon cup holders. The rear bench seat flips up. Tires are 34.6" in diameter. (285/65R20, to be exact). The...

Black Cybertruck looking so stealth at night 🥷🏻

Aluminum can be anodized. Not steel of any sort though. Typically, you might see steel powder coated. So your options on the CT are powder coating (brittle), Rhino liner (heavy), plastidip (2 years), vinyl (size limitations), or paint (standard).

Reddit post show someone just posting a contract copy and price for Tri- Motor

CT was quoted initially as 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. Are those 'plaid' speeds? I think that was a selling point for some.

    Real Cyber Truck Owners

I think the CT pricing goal was to rival traditional truck sales, not compete with the likes of Rivian. Then again, we saw a $9k jump on the X, an $11k jump on the 3, and an $8k jump on the Y when they were finally launched. So, a $10k jump on the base model CT wouldn't be outside the Teslas...

Reddit post show someone just posting a contract copy and price for Tri- Motor

The tri-motor is an extra $15k on the X. Any reason we shouldn't expect a similar price shift on the CT? I can see these rolling out for $80k & $95k.

Cybertruck hauling big motorcycle (Honda Adventure) in its bed

So True! When I did my MST at the Honda Rider Education Center in Colton, CA, someone said, I can't ride my bike like I can one of these training bikes. We waited as the instructor pulled out a full-loaded gullwing and proceeded to run the entire course, intentionally leaning so hard that the...

Cybertruck hauling big motorcycle (Honda Adventure) in its bed

Great point. I have a Honda Rune, which weighs 888 with no bags and no accessories. It's not unreasonable to expect a pair of 250 lb guys (maybe 3 or 4) with gear sitting, standing, and working on an open tailgate.

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

I believe that who ever wins this next presidential election is going to face an immediate crumbling of the economy. Lowering the interest rate is one of the most used tactics to stimulate economic growth. Incentives are a lesser used tactic, but I think we may see both regardless of who is in...

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

Great point. We've been waiting 4 years. What's another 1 or 2. Guess I'll have to buy another Tesla in the interim.

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

I thought I was early. I have 1129xxxxx. I checked a few days ago and came up with 221,000th in line. So clearly not, lol. The spreadsheet says I ordered 11/24/2019.

Cybertruck hauling big motorcycle (Honda Adventure) in its bed

Thanks for sharing the link. I wonder how much weight it can hold at that angle. I'd imagine flat cargo, thinking Home Depot run, wouldn't put much stress on it. However, a motorcycle could be distributing a couple hundred pounds potentially. Is the tailgate still a ramp, or did that concept die?

Cybertruck hauling big motorcycle (Honda Adventure) in its bed

Any chance the tailgate will have a horizontal option when open? That would give some extra room for larger bikes or longer cargo. My bike would never fit (over 100.7"), but I wouldn't want to roll an 888lb bike backward out of the bed of any truck!

Cybertruck reservation order number -- how to tell your place in line

So the launch event is 11/30, and rumor has it that there are 125k CTs on standby (of which I think they are all tri-motors). I'm not sure how that's the case with all the panel issues Musk was talking about not long ago. Let's say it's true; between all the people who don't want tri-motors and...

Videos: Cybertruck sightings galore from 9/8

I'm sure the info is out there already, but I have not seen a clear picture of the tail lights. I spotted the CT yesterday and accidently caught the taillights illuminated during the day.

Musk: "Cybertruck pricing and specs will be different, but it will be a damn fine product."

Originally, pre-orders were for single, dual, & tri-motors. Then there was an announcement or a Twitter post that said this was being changed to dual, tri, & quad-motors. I read a post here where someone quoted estimated pricing for all four motor setups. What is the latest word in the actual...

Update from Elon: Cybertruck production starting late 2022 and volume production in 2023

I'm late to the reply train, but the truck will come when it's going to come. Delays were expected from the beginning. if mine comes early in 2023, then maybe the tax credits will offset my expected "California Exit Tax." I assume a decent number of people are hoping to replace a vehicle when...

How many are buying CT that DONT actually NEED a truck?

There's more than enough legroom! You can always do the "slow mo" version he posted. It's the only way corset wearing ladies can get in/out. Im not making any guarantees about head safety. We canntake off the roof and you can wear a helmet, lol. Tesla is going to be safer than anything else on...
