On a serious note, did Tesla ever address the weight difference between using SS vs aluminum? Seems like SS would be a lot heavier.

Has anyone seen or heard anything about the CT weight? I expect the battery to be ”uge” and SS is not light. 4-500 miles is gonna be hard unless that battery is really efficient and big.

I seriously doubt it will be under $80k just based the current e-truck market. CT will not be a threat to the cheaper Lightnings or the Rivian until much later.

In an earlier post someone referenced EM saying the first trucks would be quad motors. Is this true? Why would we need 4 motors when the semi only needs three? Cost of four regular motors vs three plaid motors?
