  1. Cybertruck Tailgate

Does it still kneel so the rear approach lowers? This is what I was most interested in. Tons of ramps you can buy.
  2. BEAST MODE Cybertruck gets 845HP !! + Front locking differential / diff!

So this is not a Plaid rear drive unit? Wonder if this will be the spec on all tri motor units. I expect they would have said something about teflon in that poster.
  3. "BEAST MODE" Confirmed! 🦾

So are the top of the line options going to be a tri motor and then a Plaid tri motor? Just for the record. I'm really not that interested. I'm only asking for a friend. ;)
  4. Rear-view "mirror" screen used when towing

I do clean them but in the winter when it's raining everyday and the streets are full of water, it's impossible to keep them clean. They will be again covered literally in a half mile. Been like this for MS owners for years. Discussed on the tesla forum in the past. I've rarely had problems with...
  5. Rear-view "mirror" screen used when towing

On my third MS and the rear camera sucks in Washington winters. Constantly blurry and many times unusable because of dirt and water/snow on the lens. Hopefully they have the rear airflow turbulence on the CT under better control. Looks like the rear camera is much higher from the road so I...
  6. Rear-view "mirror" screen used when towing

Crissa reminded me that panel trucks and vans wouldn't be legal to build in an earlier post. I've never been inside those commerical types but you can clearly see the rear doors are totally covered. So it's gotta be ok. I prefer cameras now.
  7. Rear-view "mirror" screen used when towing

How can the rear view (or lack there of) with tonneau cover closed be legal? If they can require a side mirror wouldn't there be a requirement that the windshield mirror vision be unobstructed? Don't get me wrong I love not using it but really shocked that the internal rear view mirror is seen...
  8. Post-Reveal Stock Price

Sure just like there's an e in potato!
  9. Q3 Earnings Q&A Is Now Open!

I’d be happy if they just announce the delivery date! I can wait for the details.
  10. Let's talk ramp inside tailgate...

I have the harbor freight ramps referenced earlier. And I tried using them on both a Ridgeline and Tundra. Approach and departure angles without the kneeling feature are way too steep for anything other than an ATV in 4 wh dr or a dirt bike. Forget getting your riding lawn mower in or using it...
  11. Cybertruck spotted in Central Valley CA, passing Dodge Ram for size comparison

I don’t understand why folks ask this question. I’ve owned trucks for 25 years and never load stuff from the side of the bed. Too high to lift anything over to load. I’ve always just dropped the tailgate. What would you load from the side?
  12. Waiting for UAW shoe to drop?

Clearly senior US automotive management is not worth what they are and have been paying them. They've clearly missed everything related to their changing industry. UW is advertising that CEO pay went up 40% since the last raise. I seriously doubt anyone can justify any increase much less that...
  13. Waiting for UAW shoe to drop?

I’ve never seen anyone say how much of the wage increase could be funded by lowering CEO, CFO salaries. You can pay a lot of employees with the $ they make. Yea I know benefits add significantly but It could help. Besides if they were worth the $ they’re getting the company wouldn’t be in this...
  14. Powered Frunk Confirmed! Video shows frunk's unpowered motor moved against its gearing

I could be mistaken and that's why there is nothing on the driver's side. I just focused on the side I circled and didn't notice it missing on the other side. My pic was from frunk sized money shot on this forum. So how would this open? There has to be some type of push/pull mechanism and I...
  15. Powered Frunk Confirmed! Video shows frunk's unpowered motor moved against its gearing

Here is the CT pic I was referring to. Clearly a damping or support lift strut. Nothing on the driverā€˜s side. Not sure how it would open unless there was something pushing from inside the truck under the dash to open. I saw nothing during the Munro CT dual motor frunk closeup. Pretty sure he...
  16. Powered Frunk Confirmed! Video shows frunk's unpowered motor moved against its gearing

My Lightning powered frunk struts are about double the size of the CT pics. I assumed they were assist and not powered. Can anybody with a powered frunk verify size.
  17. FRUNK SIZE MONEY SHOT! šŸ’µ Production Liner Insert + Cybertruck Logo!

Frunk envy is a despicable feeling accompanied by general dissatisfaction with live itself. And understandable so. And while I would never judge another by the size of their frunk, I certainly would not like my daughter to marry someone with a such an undersized front storage area. Statistics...
  18. FRUNK SIZE MONEY SHOT! šŸ’µ Production Liner Insert + Cybertruck Logo!

Don’t think so. The struts seem way too small to actually open it. More of assist. The Lightning struts are easily double the length and width. Still I like the size. Just need to figure out how to secure things. Tie downs, D rings. Just seems a little incomplete at first glance.
