Because it's in your line of sight instead of off to the side, and if it can do full screen Apple Carplay then that means Waze. I probably wouldn't use it for anything else unless it somehow integrated with the main display to not display duplicate information to free up real estate on the main...
Both versions work pretty well for me. The left turn wrong lane issue seems to have gotten slightly worse, and I did have it act like it was going to rear end someone but it eventually stopped itself (aggressively!). Other than that, still drives pretty amazingly well in rural NH.
I have seen the braking issue with 33.15 and I don't remember that happening previously. Had to hit the brakes once or twice because the traffic ahead of me, not far ahead at all, but just "ahead", was braking hard and the Cybertruck was acting like it didn't see it. I would typically wait...
I haven't heard of any way to downgrade without going to the service center. Hopefully 12.5.6 is coming out in the next week or two.
BTW - had an "oh shit" moment last week upgrading to 2024.33.15. Was hoping it was going to include FSD 12.5.6, so started it updating as soon as I got home...
I almost wonder if this is something related to your camera calibration or something. Does it show the line correctly on the visualization? When you look through the "side repeater mirrors" (showing all three mirrors at once) does the position in the lane match the visualization? I can't...
I upgraded to 2024.33.15 a couple days ago, which includes FSD 12.5.2, and I swear it made the truck go FURTHER into the wrong lane on left 90 degree turns onto side roads with no painted lines. Doesn't seem to do any better with clipping apexes either. I almost wonder if the truck thinks it's...
My installer fixed some other things between the service and the gateway, so maybe my situation isnāt standard. I had two meters originally - he said a long time ago in NH you would pay less $$$ for elecricity to run the electric heat in a house, so a lot of houses had dual meters. My meter...
She wasn't able to get it to work on the way to school, but I figured it out when I got home. She always logs out my account in Youtube when she watches it so I can't see the brain-numbing crap she watches, and it doesn't look like the games are available if you're not logged into an account...
My 10 year old daughter was watching over my shoulder, saying āput it in drive so we know if it stays!ā the whole video. :p Sheās psyched to road test this on the way to school this morning.
Yeah I guess I was thinking the wiring could just go around the roof rack attachment hardware on the front-most mounting position versus having someone have to take off their B-pillar trim. To be honest, I haven't looked at what it takes to remove the B-pillar trim so maybe it's easy, but the...
There's little doors in the roof applique that you use to bolt down roof racks, so if they had a slim weather proof connector under one of those doors, it would be trivial to connect without having to remove any trim pieces. I get what you're saying about splices being lower profile - that's a...
So wait, they updated the service doc to now unplug the feed to the roof under the B connector applique instead of putting a quick connect under the roof applique? That seems sillyā¦. Every time you take off a trim piece the odds of it coming off later or rattling or something go up an order of...
Glad this thread is available - my installer and I spent 45 minutes trying to figure out why we weren't seeing an option for Powershare in either the truck itself or in the Tesla app, and this explained it. Sure would be nice if Tesla would update their instructions and installer videos to not...
I just saw the X notification from TeslaScope saying that a new release was in the wild, and TeslaScope showed two trucks waiting for Wifi and one downloading.
Went to my Tesla app, totally expecting not to have anything there, but my download is 50% complete already!
Release notes are exactly...
I totally get what you are saying about perception, like I thought that model Y had plenty of room too, but the ātoo sharp turnā thing is definitely real. Iām perfectly comfortable clipping an apex since I always try to practice the racing line when iām driving even if Iām in the truck going...
Would turning on Joe Mode allow it to use the lane keep assistance without the super loud beeping? I've definitely noticed the beeping going off for absolutely no reason, and was considering turning it off, but I just realized that I think I turned off Joe Mode last week so maybe that will help...
I wonder if you put that one that rubbed side-by-side with one of the other ones and compared it, if it would be different somehow. Like is there any chance they gave you one of the original wheel covers and three new-style ones? Would that be super obvious? (I've never seen new OR old covers...
Cybertruck's CB call sign could be "Bug Hammer" for how bad it decimates the flying insect population. At least they almost never hit the windshield and get smeared by the wiper...
