Now I'm wondering if there is any good location to mount an air horn on the Cybertruck. Perhaps around the rear hitch area? Would the air suspension tank provide adequate air for an occasional blast? :ROFLMAO:
In this case I kind of hope they do. While it might sound like a neat idea, the volume of this alternate horn is just not enough to get people's attention. I suspect the speaker can't reproduce the low frequencies required to successfully imitate an air horn. The bone-rattling volume of a...
Great idea. It would probably require hardware modifications to every charging station, but it might prevent a bunch of short and potential fires.
I favor the test and disable option.
Not that I've noticed. I do notice everything I place in the center floor tray sliding forward and back if I accelerate moderately or use brakes to stop.
My concern is that drivers don't seem to be able to hear the horn. I get no reaction from people that pull out in front of me without looking for traffic. The sound really doesn't seem to penetrate through vehicle doors and windows like the standard higher-pitched horn sound. It certainly...
I've been driving my Cybertruck for about 2 weeks now. I normally drive the speed limit and leave plenty of room ahead to allow for stopping using only regen. There have been a couple of times where I needed to stop faster than regen could provide, and I was startled by the lack of braking...
Chalk is very abrasive, but it's super fine, so probably won't be an issue. I was thinking about letting kids draw with markers and then using acetone to wipe it clean.
Yeah, people keep mentioning all these "numerous problems" with the Cybertruck. I'll I've read about are a small number of early trucks with motor or windshield wiper issues. Pretty much everything else is just the normal some-people-are-super-picky issues.
Two of the speakers are outside the cabin. One for the horn in the front and one for the backup sound and lock sounds in the rear (lower volume than the main front horn speaker).
I will not intentionally store Lithium battery powered devices in my vehicles during the summer months. The interior air temperature reaches up into the 155-degree range, which means the batteries are exposed to the same temperatures. I guess Lithium Iron Phosphate ( LiFePO 4 or LFP) batteries...
In a week-and-a-half of ownership I've had mostly positive responses. Kids seem to love it. I've had multiple waves, thumbs up and peace signals. No one-finger-salutes so far. One guy honked at me, not sure if that was a positive or a negative response. One guy driving on a parallel frontage...
The tread pattern is very different from the OEM tires. The specs seem the same though. Obviously they don't have the unique sidewalls either, so the Cyberwheel covers may not be able to be used, although I'm not sure on that.
Super simple to adjust. I was impressed with the simplicity and sturdiness. I was expecting to have to turn bolts and keep track of small pieces, but no, it’s all one self-contained piece.
