How’s the wind noise after it’s been replaced? Is it louder in the truck or the same? I had my windshield replaced and the wind noise seems louder especially over 55 mph.

I followed all the steps in one of Colton’s videos and my truck turned out perfect. I’m really happy with the ceramic coating. It’s very easy to keep clean and finger prints aren’t an issue anymore. Here is a good step by step video and a picture of how my turned out.

My understanding is under 10k pounds doesn’t have to get weighed. I don’t tow much so haven’t really looked into all their rules.

In NC if a vehicle weights 7,000 pounds or more the state requires you to get a weighted tag. The CT weighs less than 7k pounds but they round the GVW up to the next thousand pounds. So all CT in NC will have that type of tag. A vehicle that weighs 10k or more has to enter the DOT scales. So...

I got an early non foundation build VIN # 4000XX in October. It’s been perfect. I don’t think there is much difference between the quality of mine and one that was 9k VINS earlier.

They were producing 40XXX vins in October 2024. So that was probably built in August or September.
