    Overlanding Recommendations NorCal

We now have a great camping setup with a Vintage Overland XTR trailer and I am looking for help and advice on great places to overland in northern CA. Been car camping tons of times at popular camp sites but hoping for recommendations for more remote areas that are logistically possible with...

    50k Miles and going strong!

This is awesome. Without doing the math myself, how many miles/% will these two add to the CT battery (not including recharge from the solar panels)? Would love something like this for our camping/overlanding.

What does your camping setup look like?

3 in the Trailer (which includes a small bunk for the 4 year old), 2 in the RTT and then 2 in the CT bed. Having the Cybertent for that would be cool but I am skeptical of the time to disassemble when we are headed out for the day with the truck, plus the cost. Sheesh. The trailer has rear...

What does your camping setup look like?

I am still getting into it but yes, a few thoughts: I bought this used but was interested in two main features. A bunk bed inside (shown in the picture) for my 4 year old so all 3 could fit in it and the electronic setup including fridge. This has 2 battle born 100ah batteries and a RedArc power...

What does your camping setup look like?

First trip with this setup a couple of weeks ago. Family of 5. 3 kids sleep in the XTR trailer, wife and I in the RTT roof nest. I have a cheap Amazon pop up tent and CT bed mattress from Mars as an extra spot if needed (this time my mom came with us and my nephew). At only ~1500lbs the range...

Two Features Id love TESLA to Add

    1. The first one I am shocked doesn’t already exist as part of the native mapping system… I’d love to see the location other Teslas in our “fleet” on the map as you drive, sorta like Find my friends. My wife has a Y, my dad an X, my mother in law a Y, countless friends with Tesla’s… it would be...

“Where do you think you’re going to put that griswald!?” “Bend over and I’ll show ya”

Volk Racing Forged TE37XT 18x9" +0 wheels w/ BFG HD Terrain T/A tires on Cybertruck

Dude. love it. This was the look and wheels I wanted. Best look on a CT Ive seen IMO. Given my towing and bed load needs I had to find a different wheel with a load rating closer to OEM. I believe these are only 2100lbs each correct?

Tesla providing $300 credit to owners getting cantrails repaired (if Cybertruck is wrapped)

Won’t even pay for the PPF material. Got offered this to me at my last SC appt in the Bay Area.

How would you have handled this?

Convince your 6 year old to give them the old moon cheek press or windy hang… Or… Get in front and deploy Mario cart Mode and drop a banana peel… or… drive away safely like you did. …I can dream I guess.

Sold the Foundation…now what do I do?

100%. I was kidding the free lesson part… if you’re buying a brand new luxury vehicle of any brand, the depreciation hit will be large. Expecting otherwise is foolish.

Sold the Foundation…now what do I do?

Here’s a free lesson: Invest in real estate or other appreciating, cash producing assets so you buy cars for FUN… And use your investment entity to take title so the gov’t pays for ~40%.

Steering Wheel Loud Click (when turning lightly to the left)

mine was an early one so hopefully they’ve sorted some of these common issues out

Steering Wheel Loud Click (when turning lightly to the left)

My only complaint with this truck has been the constant chasing of dash rattles, center console creaks, seat squeaks, clicks, etc... Mine has been in to the SC probably 6 times for different noises. I can’t stand little noises in the car and are used to Tesla’s being so quiet… Good news is...

Steering Wheel Loud Click (when turning lightly to the left)

Mine was doing this. If you grab the plastic housing surrounding the steering column and push it up to try and slightly move its resting position it can go away. Mine did. I eventually had a service appt for something else and had them dive into it and SC fixed it.

SMH….Worst Cybertruck Owner? [LOCKED DUE TO POLITICS]

perhaps they are removable Velcro or some sort of cling, and these are cheap insurance when needing to park in areas vulnerable to vandalism? just a thought. I go to Oakland all the time and having a removable cling anti-musk sticker crossed my mind for cheap insurance against graffiti and...
