Just got mine wrapped in Stek high gloss black ppf. It’s expensive but my installer said it’s the highest quality product he’s worked with.
For what that’s worth…
1100 miles, pure enjoyment. No issues. Maybe I got lucky but mine has almost zero panel gap issues or any of the widely discussed cosmetic problems. Only
Complaints are the lack of features that will come with imminent software updates.
And I’m pissed there’s no homelink… but this is like...
Wow. Great setup. I am contemplating getting the Molle side panels. You think they are long enough where you could mount a set of snow skis that would lineup under the tonneau. They look too small… maybe my kids skis
I’d love a DIY video to remove the visors. I am getting a 50% tint on the front and hate how they don’t fold to the side like the x. Would rather remove them.
The CT drives like a sports car on 35’s. Its radius is as tight as my model X. Even my wife is shocked how much smaller it drives than it looks.
If it’s not too late, you should get it. If nothing else sell it for a profit…
Gotta say, the mood lighting is also not to be undervalued…
I was very reticent to pay an extra $20k for FS but I think it’s easy to justify. Do we know the wheel package is only $3k? Might be more... And everyone will upgrade. I doubt there’s a car that’s ever been made that looks worse with...
Thanks for the response! Good to know on the vinyl... I'm new to wrapping entirely. Glad to hear it's easy to keep clean. I heard you have to make sure to keep the PPF dry after a wash or rain as it can damage it. Slightly worried about that.
Looks great. Planning gloss black PPF and tinted windshield for mine. Did you compare Stek PPF to Inozetek? Or Teckwrap hybrid vinyl? I’m getting a $7500 quote out here in NorCal for Stek PPF installed. Plus $1400 for Stek graphine windshield tint.
Looks awesome OP. How hard is that PPF to take care of? I’m thinking of going gloss black on mine. Did you compare the inozetek to the stek PPF in gloss black?
