Tesla's Cybertruck VIN Activation Tracker (NOT Customer VIN Allocations)

That’s really interesting. So we have one data point where the VIN is making its way through the factory within two weeks. If we can get more data points, then we can extrapolate how real time these VIN to production requests are.

First Clear PPF being installed on Cybertruck (Foundation Series)

If the issue is just fingerprints, you can use a ceramic coat on stainless steel. Many people do it on fridges and other stainless steel appliances to keep the fingerprints off. It will also keep your truck looking cleaner for longer.

    Active Noise Cancellation feature

In the video they say they chose not to run power. It causes communication issues.

    Active Noise Cancellation feature

Gigabit is a measure of bandwidth. Ethernet is a layer 2. Ether loop is described below, and is not the same as Ethernet. But when they talk about it during the Munro interview they use both terms. If you look up his video it starts at 14:00. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Data_link_layer

Not all PPF is self healing. You have to specifically buy self healing PPF.

First Clear PPF being installed on Cybertruck (Foundation Series)

I have a clear PPF on my raptor. Driven in brush where other cars were getting scratched to hell, and my raptor never had issues. The stuff was self healing so after a few days in the sun, the PPF would self heal.

But if you watch the early videos, many of the engineers were super excited to finally explain why things have been delayed for four years. They basically had to re-engineer the truck twice. Elon drove it to his house and said...

Just canceled my founders edition order, hopefully somebody here on the forum from San Diego. Will get an invite soon.

Can you guys all just quarantine your FSD pricing conversation to one thread? This is getting pretty tiresome. You’re like a group of zombies, trying to infect other people with your nonsense. It’s well documented in every other thread that they will honor the FSD price.

I'm still getting my Foundation Series, but I can't help but feel bitter...

Just to add another data point. In 2019 to 2024 a F150 2WD short bed regular cab went from $28,155 to $36,570. That’s a $8,415 difference amounting to a 29.8% increase in the time it took to release the Cybertruck. The Cybertruck pricing increase doesn’t look so bad when you start looking at...

Why are you buying the Foundation Series model? Help me understand.

My view on the cost differential in between foundation and non foundation. Cyberbeast is worth it. AWD is probably not worth it unless you have to have one of the first by a quarter…
