It's not directly related to PCS failure. That article just mentions owner's issues with PCS. It's saying the reduced amp could be an inverter or a PCS. Most here have had the PCS failure, but this recall doesn't directly address that.
It's not great. (not bad, either)
Many complain about GM or Lucid's charging curves being more aggressive which allows them to charge faster. Tesla has actually slowed charging on their fleet, likely to maintain battery health.
The price increased to what Tesla can make money on $69,990.
That's the real difference where Tesla can maintain margins when they remove air suspension, 7 speakers, change the seat material, and remove the rear screen.
I've owned...now 6...Teslas and for all the things Tesla does well, squeaks and rattles are not at the top. Right up there with panel gaps.
Even tight newer cars loosen up and begin to rattle. Many are fixable, but it's the nature of the company and surveys of owners show that a majority have...
People have been asking for that since 2018.
In short, it's doubtful. There is coding in the app for weekend FSD subs. I assume we will get some options for when you are out of your normal vehicle.
The CT already has new battery tech, but it's cheaper for Tesla, doesn't increase range for consumers.
AI5 will be sometime mid-late 2027.
I would guess we won't see anything big for the CT until 2027.
69,000.
The 60k price is either taking a loss or almost 0 margins. It also changed the seats, speakers, removed the rear screen/integrated vents, and outlets from the cabin.
They are not leasing that model anymore.
It's unknown if they allow you to lease if you don't change your order.
They should, but Tesla doesn't operate like most companies.
It's absolutely legal if they agree to refund the $250, which it appears they will.
If you recall, the FS CT and other CTs ordered months after the FS ended all ordered AutoPilot only for Tesla to later say that the CT will not receive Autopilot (over a year later).
It's pretty standard for...
You can order a Premium or CB and get it in 4 weeks. It's not the batteries holding back the AWD.
Tesla has stated that the 4680 has ramped far beyond the CT production and the RT is not in full production, yet.
Maybe 1 per year, but it's a bad business model to do 1 per month and worse to give it everyone for free after a period of time.
I bet Tesla will have incentives in thr future for included FSD subscription, but they are definitely ending ownership of it
