The CT already has new battery tech, but it's cheaper for Tesla, doesn't increase range for consumers. AI5 will be sometime mid-late 2027. I would guess we won't see anything big for the CT until 2027.

You can order a Premium or CB and get it in 4 weeks. It's not the batteries holding back the AWD. Tesla has stated that the 4680 has ramped far beyond the CT production and the RT is not in full production, yet.
