I do like how we have vendors that are willing to take their gear and go to the rough places and find out, in some of the most public ways, how well their stuff works.
Both here and on the Rubicon our vendors have tested their equipment and assumptions first hand.
Can confirm my August 2024 Cyberbeast PCS controller failed on me March 10th. It was plugged in and charging (Tesla L2 standard charger) when it failed.
I've had a lot of FSD disengagements. Bad weather is almost always the cause.
Every time while it was screaming at me and flashing red on the screen it was slowing down. Neither of those events (Cybertruck now or Y on reddit) were slowing down at all. Both times the person had to have their...
Unless cops see that light/identifier and absolutely ignore my vehicle I'm not going to run it. That seems like the only positive to me.
I agree, I don't want other drivers to react/behave differently if I'm driving or FSD is.
I've only had the Defenders for a couple thousand miles now and most of it winter weather.
The grip feels like its slightly worse than the stock ATs but like as the OP said that may improve as the outer layer wears off.
I haven't really had a chance to check efficiency improvements yet. I'll...
I still want to see everything (well maybe not everything) thats being built for the cybertruck. If nothing else it give a variety of concepts to consider.
That is interesting, is there a link to it. Can't tell a whole lot from that one shot.
Its hard to tell how much ground clearance it has for the wheels.
It also looks like it could partially obstruct the headlights (may not be a bad thing with how easy the break).
Found the link...
Pond rubber would be tough enough for a material but what you would use under it I'm not sure. Springs/springing rope to maintain the general shape and connection between the two. 4x hooks on both vehicle and trailer to keep the general box shape of the CT.
Not an electrician so NFA ...err NEA (?) (Not Electrical Advice).
Here is an example from using a 30A generator
It is not hard to run 50A from the 240v on the truck to each side of the main power panel (120v per side), neutral, and ground. Fusing it is important and having a good system for...
Got it today. Here's my initial thoughts.
It does generally act much smoother than previously. Drives more like a human in general, gets up and goes as soon as you hit the button.
* I've had it jerk multiple times. Leaving a parking lot. Deciding whether to go through or stop at a light that...
I'm going to get the LTX Plats. It will be a week or two though as Costco doesn't stock them and has to order.
I looked more into the Nokian Outpost and really they would be a better competition for BFG AT KO2 tires. It was just the first couple reviews I found that were apparently overly...
