Just people trying to abbreviate it. S = standard. I saw BAWD too (for base /basic). Personally SAWD reminds me too much of Subaru's AWD. PAWD sounds dumb too.
Basic/premium/beast are easier to decipher.
I give them a lot of critical so they know it ain't perfect. Cuz you know if you choose the others they just go into a meaningless void. Sometimes a nav for good measure because their routing is laughable compared to Waze or Google maps.
Not an admin but I made a poll during that time and there are 19 responses for base.

Would be nice if there was a dedicated order tracker here.
Agreed. I'm using FSD less to avoid it, since while I appreciate FSD in some scenarios, I regularly disable it such as right before stop signs to avoid long stops and avoiding potholes. After the update I was disabling it even more since it doesn't time the regenerative braking right while...
Agreed. Makes me think like others have suggested, this will soon turn to a sales tactic to get those who ordered Basics to pay "just $10,000 more" to get Premium ASAP. Which would be a steal for Premium, although not too far from the previous low of $72,500 if eligible for tax credit. But back...
Wow. I know there's some modest excitement here around the Basic trim but I don't think we're going to see any crazy numbers once they start selling.
I appreciate your insight. I thought you were a bot (or AI output) for a while  I can always expect to get a good market analysis from you.
Agreed, wheels look better, I'm not sure if it's the lighting or angle.
They're hoping to get a customer who still thinks $100k/$120k are the price points and doesn't realize you can order a brand new basic trim for cheaper than this which I'd call beyond basic. Or pay $2k more for premium.
Ok that's a start, but too time consuming for take out beverages.
This one is good for hilly areas.
But now I gotta open the tonneau?
Actually I never thought of the ground. I always put it on the roof of my other vehicles. This may be the solution I'm looking for, just need to remember your...
Love this truck but where is one supposed to temporarily place a drink on the roof to open the door without it falling down? Or toss something on the hood without it sliding off. Refresh better have roof cupholders and a hook or flat area on the hood or tonneau!!
