Capped to 85 mph. I had a loaner S and plaid was available. I thought the demo was on beast mode but with a rear facing car seat heavy acceleration wasn't on the top of my list. That could also explain perceived noise levels 🤣
Kudos to that and good luck with your videos.
I somehow have evaded those pesky or inquisitive people asking me how I refill the washer fluid. I feel left out...
I had 2 separate 48 hour test drives before I purchased, one with AWD and one with CB. Aside from the wheel covers I honestly couldn't tell a difference in sound, ride quality, or acceleration. I'm sure if I floored it I would've felt a difference.
$20k wasn't worth it in my opinion. I...
Yeah lighting is probably the minor downgrade for the Basic trim. Seems pretty negligible.

This may be a dumb question but once basics start hitting the road, will that lower rates across the board or have no effect on the higher trims? The 60/70 price seems confusing too how it would play into costs to repair, replace, etc.
Now $10000 will look like a nice price to pay for all the goodies that come with the premium as a huge upgrade from basic. Or $9000 if it's your first Tesla since they still exclude the referrals for basic AWD surprisingly. Either way the long term play was to make premium look like the best...
Premium for $75k tomorrow would be an odd move, since the only thing mentioned is basic pricing will go up. Although premium was basically $71500 last year with tax credit and referral so it could go back down again.

My Q3 2025 build has a good click for the turn signal buttons. I had a 2025 model S loaner once and those buttons were horrible. Was so glad once I got back to the CT. I must have confused so many people because I could never get a feel for when the buttons were pressed. They seemed more capacitive.
