LOL, yeah the Subarus go there, too. I'll be tapping my errors and omissions insurance for that mistake!
Calling LE is pobably the correct call on the second part if it persists long enough. I knew I had an exit coming and that they wouldn't ge there in time on that day.
Here in Idaho, the coal rolling is frequent from the MAGA right. But, I also get tremendous hate from the left who hate Elon and the fly fishing/kayaking Toyota Tacoma crowd who believe they have a monopoly on all environmental opinions and have bought hook-line-sinker all the...
I think this is primarily a tire issue. I run up and down to our local ski resort on icy, snow covered roads almost every weekend. With Toyo open country AT3 tires (triple peak rated) I can use the regen on the very steep and windy road coming down with zero issues. I had the same tires on my...
For FS ordering the Beast also got you $4000 in install fees for Powershare. And, The rear locker system is Sw and automatic, so if you off-road a ton, not having to deal with mechanical lockers frequently is pretty nice. I know there is a hypothetical that the mechanical lockers are more...
No regrets from me with the truck or the price. However, for the first 5 months I got the finger from everyone... 65 YO ladies in Honda Pilots, Teenagers in Subarus, Tacoma driving wankers with kayaks on their roofs, and F250s with not a spec dirt on them. At times it was tough to absorb the...
Yeah, I'd like to try again since the update, but the days are getting pretty short here again. I wonder if the API for the Anker would allow for something like an external Arduino control, where the Arduino monitors the Anker battery condition and controls the outlet power accordingly. Were...
I'd love to compare notes with you on this. I did the same thing with an Anker Solar Generator and 1200W of their folding panels. My goal was to have a system that could run at a trailhead while I hunted out of a backpack for the week. The challenge was to balance the charge rate such that...
They tried a number of things and made a lot of adjustments to get it to fit. They ordered a new bed, but that didn't solve it. As a mechanical engineer, it was a little hard to witness... :ROFLMAO:
Something isn't right here. I have a beast and drive the crap out of it. 5200 miles, I've hit 127mph, multiple launches, drive in beast mode all the time, multiple trips towing a 6500 lb trailer, off-roading, drifting sessions in dirt lots... I'm enjoying the truck. My tires look close to...
Has anyone actually verified that this second truck failed as WD claimed? Note: he even says it is "unverified" in his video. With the popularity of the first video, and CT based Schadenfreude trending like crazy, I'd think this would be all over the place rather than just magically appearing...
I charged my model 3 LR for 6 years to 80% daily. It is still within 3% of original range (99th percentile on Recurrent). 80% likely won't hurt anything.
I've towed my 31ft/6500 lb Airstream quite a bit now. On backroads (45-60mph) I'm getting 160-180 miles. On Highways I'm getting ~150 miles. Wind drag really matters, which is why we went with the Airstream over a box travel trailer. Your mileage may vary.
Pull through chargers are a must...
If you tow a lot the Silverado is a good truck. However, keep in mind (in addition to what you've said):
1)The CT achieves 80% the range on 60% of the battery, so the efficiency of the CT is much better. This translates to lower costs of charging.
2) The Fast charging speeds on the SIlverado...
