Not sure what you mean about the wheel and plastic - do you mean the wheel well or the actual wheels?
As for dropped hitch, Amazon sells hitch extenders which you could use - though I'm not sure how it'll impact towing.
I have the rear washer installed and it's awesome.
Just a tip - I installed it to my main wiper system instead of the front camera washer (if that makes sense).
You can't use the front camera washer when FSD is engaged which makes this solution almost useless unless you put your car in (D)rive...
I really do wish people would experience it before being so quick to judge it. Mine is in the 40K VIN range - It's been hands down one of the best purchases of my life - no regrets here.
The Service center had just done my tonneau cover fix thanks to @mongo's recommendation of:
"Also reference...
Oh wow, you were a really early VIN huh?
Well as previously mentioned, you would lose lifetime premium connectivity and FSD. Given it's been only 2-3 years and you're already looking to swap to a newer model, $99/year + 99/year x 2 = $396 - $594. Therefore you came no where close to taking...
This was something I had mentioned before in an older thread. It's definitely jarring and a tad bit scary when it shifts into another lane or shoulder without any heads up. I have noticed this happens more on "Standard" FSD profile rather than "Hurry". Give that a go and let me know if it...
I'm sorry this happened to you. My condolences for your CT. I'm glad you're ok though.
Young and uninsured is hard to get a proper settlement as you mentioned. Perhaps they can garnish the other driver's wages until your portion is settled out? I've been in a few collisions myself, I'm 38, so I...
To clarify @dalton108 is talking about the license plate thing that CT owners has been able to do for a while, not dumb summon - I got confused initially when I read it.
This is what Tesla should've done for CT owners:
- Smart / Dumb Summon
- Deeper Grok integration along with "Hey Grok"
- More interior light features - Blind spot, Parking Distance (Blue to Red the closer you get to objects), more colors and variations of Music Sync, and Brightness Control...
My apologies, that's what I meant by stock wheels. My correction will be wheels --> Tires. I have Wrangler RT tires and have been an absolute beast when it comes to terrain challenge.
I believe it had a dual ball hitch but I understand your point. He seemed to tie up in a particular way to ensure it doesn't come undone while it was being yanked on. At first, I (too) thought it was a single ball hitch - honest mistake.
You're right. My initial post in this thread was mainly to call out the idiot (aka CT owner) who got themselves stuck in the sand. It wasn't to discredit Matt or his recovery team. As I mentioned, their videos inspired me to learn more. All I was trying to say is: As far recovery went in the...
I'm curious to see if others have noticed the difference between Standard and Hurry mode. As mentioned, in Hurry mode this doesn't happen - I find this only happens in Standard and perhaps slower speed profiles?
My guess:
1. Coil-spring adaptive damping suspension (vs. premium adaptive air suspension) limits stability/load-leveling; also lowers payload (2,006 lbs vs. 2,500 lbs).
2. Vault under-bed storage is deleted; bolted assembly per Tesla service manual, so Tesla/aftermarket part can be added later...
