Awesome pics! Low-key jealous. Their recovery channel, along with a few others, was what really got me into the whole off-roading world. I have Rhino USA tow hitch, shackles, straps, hooks, shovel, etc. in my truck at all times waiting for an opportune moment. Now, I just need to find that...
No f*** that guy (Zack). Every day which passes he seems more and more deranged than the previous.
I really wish I was there at the recovery to be able to check the undercarriage of the vehicle to spot any fractures or damage. 😅
Yes, it's a bad idea. Tow balls aren't designed for recovery pulls - they're for steady trailer towing only. Snatch loads or angles can damage the ball, mount, or vehicle (or turn it into a projectile).
Cybertruck's cast aluminum hitch adds extra risk; tests show it fails near its towing limit...
It was soon found out nothing of importance had changed. It's all "under the hood" changes in preparation for further optimization and (perhaps) v14 lite for HW3 owners. For HW4 owners it yielded ~20% more reaction time, my guess is for HW3 owners it might just be enough to squeeze all the code...
The only way this sticker price would make sense is to create the ultimate S/X version:
All the features stated above, and features which were included in Cybertruck & Model Y(L):
- 48v & 800v architecture (making it future proof to some extent)
- Four Wheel Steering
- Steer-By-Wire
- Electronic...
Hi Folks,
I have noticed when I have my FSD in "Standard" mode, when on highway, it tries to avoid tire marks to a point where it looks like I'm either distracted driving or drunk driving. I would almost bet a cop seeing this would pull me over. I have also noticed other road users distance...
What an absolute moron. I've said this time and time again. It's not the vehicle, it's always the driver! 🤬
This moron went with stock wheels into the sand dunes not expecting to get stuck. I have a Cybertruck and I've driven in just about every terrain you can think of with no issue.
He needs...
I think initially this was normal (especially if yours is a FS or early trim). However, many have said this is the reason why their bed has been leaking. Service Center (SC) fix seems to add an additional slat to minimize any leaking. The bed was never made to be 100% waterproof, though it...
Wow, I'm sorry this happened to you - although, I'm not surprised given it's a Liberal city. I live in Vancouver too, so thank you for the heads up. As lighthearted as it may seem, I hope you reached out to VPD and file a report. You're lucky they didn't use a permanent marker or keys. The...
Hi Folks,
I know ya'll are hyped and excited about 14.3 coming out today.
In case ya'll need a breather from all that noise, let me just drop this video by Mark McCann.
Personally, I thought it was a fun bit.
Enjoy & Cheers,
I'm trying to figure this out as well. I didn't see any app on Apple's App Store.
Would love to see a more detailed demo of this as their website is behind a paywall.
My guess: HotSpot your phone or (in my case) join the same network as my vehicle's SSID, then cast to the IP address.
From what I...
I use these with 3m double sided tape:
They cover both the driver and passenger side buttons to prevent accidental presses. The original CyberFridge has been, *knock on wood*, bullet proof. I don't care much for the heating feature, instead it has a lot of storing capacity.
I'm trying to reduce "points of failure". To me, even having that AC to DC brick when it's not necessary is:
a) a waste of energy; DC --> AC --> DC conversion
b) Fridge's power adapter failing
c) As @mongo pointed out, keep the fridge running while vehicle is charging - it works when...
