Also, pretty sure there was a custom Tesla tow hitch seen in some of the videos when the CT was at the Peterson Museum... It was black that kinda points to painted cast carbon steel. Hmmm, how do you bolt that to aluminium cast or SS without corrosion potential (when wet)?
Albeit, Alum and...
Storing gps tracks to view/share/follow
GoPro page to connect to multiple cams
PA to share cabin sounds on outside horn-speaker
Ability to record and/or livestream GUI any Tesla cam or connected GoPros
Control/monitor power consumption of the 120/240 VAC outlets (with events, timers and schedules)
What do you think the other parts in the undercarriage (suspension parts, formed structural battery case, etc...) will be made of?
I know there is also galvanic corrosion of carbon steel if it's not properly isolated from any stainless.
I'm sure Tesla is thinking about this, but wondering what...
My feelings:
Current progress points to Tesla's Level 5 FSD is 1-2 years away...extended adoption of robotaxis probably in 2-3 years. Robotaxi, combined with efficient EVs will create a very low cost/mile true paradigm shift. The tsunami is coming!

if an FSD model will MAKE you $300k over 10 years (no prob for the CT), I would expect Tesla could charge ~$50k+ easy. Right now, lay public still doesn't see how they could be there, but really probably only a year away :) Exciting future.

The CT is today's most agressive balance of function, form, and COST.
These youtube talking heads forget to talk about the value of CT compared to ANY other vehicle, even against the Model3/Y.
... Then, add in FSD and RoboTaxi for the ? on top.
This is an appropriate question/response to the new Ford Bronco's (and Jeep's) ONLY benefit.
My opinions:
- the full glass roof will feel open, without the dust and wind. Everytime I ever had a convertible, I preferred the roof up after 5 min (too hot, too cold, too dusty, too windy, etc...)
-...
BTW, interesting to see a close up of the glass and jam. Not too thick and interesting mechanical details.
One of my biggest worries about the CT is the driver position and sill height. I can't stand trucks where the sill is really high and you can't see lean out to see the front wheels...
Agree... tweeter. Tesla is so determined to simplify, they (re)moved the driver console display to the center screen. There is no way they would ruin their super simple aesthetic putting in more displays. That would also add complications to design, wiring and software.
Also, I like the idea...
