Per Elon:
“That’s pretty much what it [the Cybertruck] will look like, with very small differences. You know, we adjusted the size a few percent. Like around 3% or smaller. You don’t want it to be a couple of inches too big for the Boring tunnel,” said Musk.

Hmmm, I LOVE how the CT tickles our engineering minds.
My guess is any stamp cutter would have a high operating cost maintaining the die/cutters and slow to make engineering changes, especially with this cold-worked stainless. I could be wrong, considering this is only 3mm.

My understanding - No geofencing.
The FSD system (the car) develops a instantaneous 4D (space and time) localized map of the area using cameras and radar to interpret safe areas to drive... no maps or network required. Here's is "the man" Andrew Karpathy describing this exact feature. I've...
They must finally realize what we all have seen for a couple years... if they don't change, they are doomed. Yikes, you said it well... probably too little, too late...
As expected, Tesla is on top of these issues as discussed by Elon and Sandy
(specifically discussed galvanic corrosion at 18:30).
Sandy seems like a REALLY big CT fan, but, unfortunately, didn't discuss CT at all :(
I feel this controversial yoke move (no stocks) is to get the Model S owners to help "train" the neural net in PDRN prediction - preparing for feature complete FSD.
Like how FSD records anytime the driver intervenes, the same could happen when the driver selects a different gear from the main...
True.
What are these surveys for? Blow sunshine up legacy's ass? How does that help anyone?
This is a sincere question, any ideas for this kind of fud?
I heard the demo's dash is paperstone (eco-friendly pressed paper commercial countertop that is very durable, sandable, etc). Not lightweight and wouldn't think easy to pivot open.
I love the idea but hope for a bunch of storage spaces too
