I went with the full mirror delete nearly a year ago and have never looked back. Once you learn the scan and use the OEM sensors, itās just superior. And safer. IMO 3rd party add-one just complicate things and detract.
I have 41,000 on my ATs. Rotated them at 6,500, then at 40,000. I think a lot of people get unnecessary wear by doing hard scrubbing turns on rough surfaces while parking. I stopped using auto park because it did that so much.
Mine works, I just donāt use it as much as I used to as it does too much tire scrubbing for my liking. Iāve got over 40,000 miles on my OEM ATs and I have a friend whose wife does a lot of tire scrubbing getting into and out of their perpendicular garage. His ATs were bald after 10,000 miles.
I just replaced my oversized black shower cap cover (to eliminate windshield reflections) for my Starlink mini with this silicone cover available from Amazon for a few bucks. Nice upgrade. Starlink Mini Protective Case... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FG2TC29L?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Usually these poles are installed to keep folks from backing into more costly infrastructure. FSD supervised works fine for parking but it still needs supervision.
Ever get tired and stop and walk around the car or do jumping jacks and a few minutes later youāre just as tired? Then you finally trade with your spouse and now you sit in the passenger seat wide awake (and not because her driving is scaring you.) Iām convinced that itās easier to stay awake...
Iāve never had any interest in inductive charging at home. It canāt be as efficient as wired, therefore more expensive and takes longer. Plus after seeing how hot my phone gets doing inductive, Iāve got no desire to heat my garage or burn it down.
Does the average dash cam/sentry user need this upgrade? I got the alert that my OEM drive was full just prior to one year.l of ownership. Simple button push to reset it all.
I got the email and selected the nearby Costa Mesa SC for doing the work. I also added a few things like the leaking tonneau (right front like most everyone else), a rear passenger seat belt that never wanted to retract unless you guided it, and foggy windshield cameras that would occasionally...
Iāve only driven 40,000 miles in the last year but so far have seen ZERO CT rear enders. No front enders or side enders or any CT accidents for that matter.
Just look at the CTās headlights and youāll discover thereās more to illumination than the area of the lights. Have you figured out the lux of the CTās high intensity LED tail light vs conventional bulb tail lights?
