I pay one annually here in GA. It's to make up for tax not collected with gas for roads etc. (.33 a gallon here). Though I think the calculation should better consider the mpg equivalent. As of now i the charge equates tome getting the same mpg as an f350 super diesel.

The slats are metal so you should be able just to put vinyl or PPF on them just as you would any of the other panels. You need to cut between each slat though so essentially each slat wrapped. That would have no impact on the mechanism. I'm looking for something a a little more subtle not...
