HOA Issues - Does Tesla provide any assistance with HOA nonsense?

Good advice checking CC&Rs. I lived in an HOA that sent me bogus citations for things that they explicitly couldn't regulate as per the deed restrictions. Then I put the property on the market and they threatened to block the sale. I sent a lawyer to talk to them and they finally backed off. I...

HOA Issues - Does Tesla provide any assistance with HOA nonsense?

If you can manage it, try to get on the HOA board. If the law that @M0unt41nm4n pointed out passes, getting the HOA to abide by the law may be a challenge. I've passed on buying some very nice properties due to HOAs. I don't care how low the fees are or what amenities they have. It's a...

    Cybercab + Optimus Pop-Up in Austin March 13-14, 2026

Cybertruck is the most beautifully designed of all in my opinion.

Any first hand experience with evaluating Leviton Smart Load Center vs. Span.io and Tesla Powershare?

If you plan to use it with Home Assistant, Tesla Powershare and Span.io are solid bets. If you also want the option to use it without sending your data to the cloud, Span.io is the frontrunner.

Buyback/replacement approved. 2027 model year start?

I've had two Teslas and they've been near perfect. If my truck had as many issues as OP's, I'd be pretty annoyed and wanting a different one as well.

Buyback/replacement approved. 2027 model year start?

Sorry to hear that. My '25 has been great and most (if not all) buybacks that I've heard of have been '24s. It's luck of the draw and the Cybertruck is still a young platform. I hope Tesla does what they need to to make you a happy customer.

    6 or 7 Seater Need

Same here. I had a loaner X 7-seater recently. It's a nice car, but not worth the change for us. If we're going through the hassle of switching vehicles just to be more passenger friendly, it'll probably be something bigger. I would love for Tesla to make a passenger vehicle on the Cybertruck...

Buyback/replacement approved. 2027 model year start?

Tesla makes changes between production batches, not necessarily model years like legacy auto manufacturers. There could be changes between the beginning and end of the same model year, but none between the end of one year and the beginning of another. The model year can affect resale value...

Buyback/replacement approved. 2027 model year start?

Year '25 VINs didn't start coming out until Christmas '24. I held off for a week or so to get the new model year. At this point you'll probably be waiting for most of a year to get one model year difference.

Ghetto tie downs for roof rack attachment points

Huh. I wonder if L-track could be mounted in there and still leave room for the flaps to close.

    Replace Cant Rail Assemblies

I went in to have the Roof Appliques installed and they did the cantrails at the same time. They gave me a loaner X and it was done the next day.

Possible Cyber SUV? Not sure if AI

I'd love to see them do this and build the Y-L (or XL) on the Cybertruck platform.

$59,990 Dual Motor AWD Cybertruck announced! (Estimated Delivery Date Now 2027!)

Same with the driving experience. I had a loaner X, and missed steer-by-wire.
