My answer is the same as @DumpsterFire. Nope. Is it for sure an accelerator problem? I’ve heard speculation on the forum but no confirmation from Tesla. Maybe they have and I just don’t know. If there was a problem with existing trucks, my hope would be they notify us of exactly what they issue...
Yep! The same. Everyday, even with my regular routine, I come across people who have never seen it in person or have no idea what it is. Sometimes it takes a minute to register because its easy to focus on what you’re doing and forget what you’re driving ?.
Here’s a video from Out of Spec Detailing on window cleaning. Great video and the chemicals he recommended are legit. He also has a video on cleaning the interior of the CT where he gives a demonstration on cleaning the windshield.
I love the CT in white. Pearl White was gonna be my color choice but I couldn’t find one that had the depth I wanted. Yours looks great. I decided on a version of black that I’m excited about. The CT stands out on its own but in my area, about 3 of every 5 cars are some shade if white and it...
I’ll be getting mine wrapped later this month with Pure PPF. The only reason, in my opinion, anyone should consider wrapping is for a color change. Owners are getting wraps for a lot of different reasons, all of which are valid. Some are choosing not to for a a lot of valid reasons. I haven’t...
I’m one of those guys who loves detailing my vehicles and my CT is no exception. I’m waiting for my PPF color choice to get shipped to my tint shop (it was on back order) but while I wait I’ve been cleaning it pretty regularly. The stainless does hold up pretty well and hides dust and dirt well...
That’s been my experience so far. To see kids get excited taking out their phones to get a picture is pretty cool. Most teenagers I’ve come across tell how cool the truck is so I give them a tour if I have the time. That sucks that’s been the OP’s experience.
I agree. While towing I can’t see anything out of the rear camera view except my trolling motor. I usually just turn the rear camera off. Doesn’t really matter because I’m used to not depending on that view while towing anyway.
Yes, it must be a bug because I use my truck to tow my boat and it’s always been there. When you attach a trailer to the truck it automatically goes into Tow mode. Hopefully they fix it in one of the upcoming updates.
@ItsDrew, Camp Mode is the ticket for #1. Thank @heems for the suggestion. Camp mode keeps the truck on. The default setting and Boombox turn off when you leave which makes sense. I was sitting in my truck trying to figure it out cause I like listening to music while I clean it.
I think he means in trailer mode because it picks up the boat like it’s a car tailgating you and is constantly flashing. It can get pretty distracting but I’ve learned to ignore it. As far as the music, i have the Sam question but haven’t experimented with trying to solve it.
I agree with you. My condemnation is not for others who don’t think like me, it’s when someones personal beliefs are projected onto others. You notice I also finished my statement with my beliefs are irrelevant. Because they are. Your beliefs are irrelevant. It doesn’t matter what your personal...
If that’s your use case and personal belief then lead with that. Our society has an oversupply of people who like nothing better than to condemn others for not believing they way they believe. We ALL make decisions on a daily basis that affect society in some way or another, positively and...
That’s the trend in areas like SF and LA. Not so much in my area. I think we have maybe 4 CT’s in the general area but no one has wrapped theirs (my color choice was back ordered so have to wait until the end of the month) so I’m not sure if it’s actually 4 or people are seeing the same ones...
If the OEM’s only sold to work truck people they’d be out of business already. This is a tired and old argument. There are far more people buying trucks with no intention on ever using them for work than there are “work truck” guys buying them. Businesses aren’t buying new fleets of trucks...
