I used a car wash once and was traumatized lol. I put the truck into car was mode with the expectation neutral was part of it. It took a minute to realize I had no idea how to put the truck into neutral and basically had to drive it through the sit still type. No issues with cleaning it or...
Nice. I’m dropping mine off next Monday for his salon appointment lol. They estimated 5 days for the wrap and tint. I’m getting excited. What color did you choose?
Mine updated last week and I haven’t had any issues. What I did notice that I’m not sure is in the release notes is the map actually stays on the satellite choice without reverting to the default map and that when streaming music it actually stays at the same point in the song if you leave...
I’ve had my truck about 6 1/2 weeks now and have washed it many times. I haven’t seen nor had any rust spots so far. I think the consensus is that the rust is not the HFS rusting but other surface contamination. If you plan on wrapping it won’t be an issue but if not, Tesla has recommendations...
That someone f$&ked up and passed that on to a customer is disappointing. Why would they need that much pressure on top of the logo? What would need to come off that’s worse than the results??!! Seems like a quarter panel replacement is in order because I agree, how can they “fix” it?
Nope! You’re not alone lol. It was nice in the beginning but now not so much. I had to make a quick supercharger stop before my fishing tournament and was in my pajamas. I was hoping like hell no one was interested and no one was. It was heaven. Just watching YouTube videos killing time.
Damn it looks good in that color. That’s ok. There’s already someone rolling around in our area with a black one just not sure which black. I haven’t seen it but a coworker and friend have seen it. Great colors are gonna be popular but I get it.
Nice! All great color choices. Prism Black was my #2 but they’re pretty similar lol. What brand PPF are you using. I’d like to see what the Obsidian Red looks like. If I did ever choose red it’d have to be dark like you described it. I’m having them apply the vinyl logos also. Gotta have the FS...
Ok cool. Im not a fan of red per se but the CT looks sick in red. I’m in the Central Valley also and Cen Cal Tint is doing both the tinting and wrap. Mine will be the first one they do and we chose Galaxy Black. I prefer metallic look and went back and forth between light and dark colors before...
I’m doing the same and convinced police won’t bother with it. Just in my area of California I see cars and trucks with blacked out tint on a daily basis. If PD wanted a reason to pull you over it’s a great one but they’d be chasing people all day everyday.
I absolutely love seeing the kids get excited to see the truck. Their genuine excitement just brightens my day.
Too many stories to share them all but one of my favorite just happened recently. I was behind an SUV with a mom and kid around 12 or 13 in the passenger seat. She must have told him...
I’ve had the same experience while driving. I don’t Supercharge very often but like the OP most other Tesla owners charging notice it, but don’t really care. I’ve had more non Tesla folks come and ask about the truck while Supercharging.
Mine has a few (maybe 3)dimpled spots along that line but I had to get the lighting at the right angle and bend down to see them. Definitely not noticeable without specifically looking for them. What’s your VIN number? Mine is 1834. I wonder if depending on the VIN range the application process...
From previous owners talking about how small the rear view mirror was I prepared myself to remove it completely after I got my truck. I would angle the rear view mirror in my M3 up and use the camera view to condition myself to look at the center screen for that information. Worked like a charm...
