Yeah, I would appreciate more, hidden storage, maybe a small vault to store a sentry cam SSD?
I think the chain, towing hitch, gloves, etc. might be better stowed in the lower rear vault storage... not sure I was really heavy stuff in the center console. A place for glasses, for sure.
Haha! Point taken!
If I go, I will agree to limit my stay to a brief tour, purchase of a nice hat and boots and get my Cybertruck out fast before I have too much influence over the native population.
:p
I have been thinking it would be fun to go to Texas to pickup my Cybertruck when it is ready. Then, I would drive it back to California. This would be more fun in a convoy of Cybertrucks, but the logistics seem like they would be tough to work out. I donāt know if there will be a large enough...
You mean like a drone that launches from the vault and is controlled by the main screen? Like the ābirdieā Speed Racer had on the Mach 5?
I would get that.
Sounds like a business opportunity! Removing the factory glass roof panel and welding on a stainless steel plate.
But as stated previous;y, this may be a non-issue. Until we know the properties of the roof material, we donāt know how 9t works as a ground plane or how easy it is to drill through...
I did get used to the center display In my Mini Cooper, though it also had a small binnacle behind the steering wheel that helped.
I have never had a HU display, so I appreciate that it might be one of those things that, once you get, you realize isnāt as great as you hoped.
I do think of it as...
Yes, I think most are using dynamite behind the front trunk area and behind the sail panels. Obviously there are great kits for the rear seating area, maybe adding padding under the carpet?
oh wait, this is before the CT is out, I shouldnāt be responding yet. Sorry
I think by virtue of the car starting out so quiet, ANY sound system already has a big advantage.
There is no factory radio to replace though and no slot where one would go.
So, youād need to find a place to install it, then run wires for power, speakers and an antenna, then figure out where the...
I added it and agree completely with the reasons (to do so) listed above.
Also, you add it now, but there is still a year or two (or three) of continued development between now and accepting a new Cybertruck.
Thatās. Long time to gather data and make improvements.
I am not interested in sending...
As I recall, these clran them selves out fairly well when you hit a bump and they flex slighLy.
I would like to make the Cybertruck as invulnerable as possible.
I hope these are viable and affordabl.
Sorry for your loss.
This is an idea that seeme like it would be fairly simple to implement, maybe someone at Tesla will
pass it along?
I lost my father a few decades ago and after he passed, I got a flag and a letter from the president
about his service in Korea. It was the first I (and my...
Interesting discussion. I just ordered a
model 3 and went for a new one because the price was so close to similar used ones I was finding. Hopefully, I will get some of the latest features like the octo-valve, new center console, power trunk release, et. al.
I also have a BMW which I have had...
As I recall, Jack, (R.I.P.) thought that the Tesla glass would be Aluminum Ceramic, called Alon, but known colloquially as Transparent Aluminum.
āI think it was Raytheon who developed it and then sold it to the current owner.
Part of the process of making it clear is the polishing. After it is...
