Starlink certainly has options that are not GeoLocked. It's called Roam. It's very popular in the Cruising Sailboat community and even works at sea if the area is covered by satellites. Being from Canada I'm sure you are aware of the lack of cellular phone coverage particularly in rural areas. I...
Thanks for adding to the description. It looks really nice and I like how it comes so closely to maintaining the Cybertruck aerodynamics. It's a bit much for me with Potable and Grey Water tanks. I think I'm going to let the market "declare itself" before I jump in with a camper. I'm a...
Funny, I was living in Arkansas and took delivery of my Model 3 in Dallas with no issues that I’m aware. I don’t think there’s a warrant or anything as I’ve subsequently moved to Texas and got my DL and truck license no problem.
Have any of you priced a camper for your truck? While it’s not as cheap as some options, the pricing isn’t outrageous. I haven’t reserved one and have no dog in the fight really. But here’s an article that describes options for my Tundra...
Chevy has it as an option, when you build and order a Corvette. Just thinking that it could provide them some advertising and maybe move some regional deposit holders up in line. Personally I’m not worried about delivery fees and minor costs like that.
Just wondering if Tesla would do a factory delivery process at Austin, like Chevy does with the Corvette in Bowling Green. That would be cool to get a factory tour then take possession of your Cybertruck,
Some great questions! My Tundra has a 5.5ft bed , I’m 6’3” and sleep comfortably on the diagonal with it. I’m a side sleeper so some what fetal in positioning. I think by looking at the vault you would be okay headroom wise with head cab side rather than tail gate side.
Just a couple of thoughts regarding issues raised. We travel to the Rockies July-Aug to escape the heat here in East Texas. Once we “ get settled” we really don’t drive around much. I’m truck camping out of at Tundra, but RV spots where we’ve been camping typically have 220v available. Not...
I’ve been researching electric van life options and there isn’t anything out there for non commercial entities that has decent range ( 250+ miles) I can find. Thinking about SpaceCamper with Starlink for a viable electric option.
I’m wondering how much “ scale of production “ would honestly be gained by this? I think it would decrease production costs significantly. Which would make Teslas more available to the public in general.
