Man that’s terrible, down here in south florida no one cares, or they come up because they are genuinely interested and ask questions and I allow them to sit inside or take a look at the vault. I have not experienced any hate yet. I sincerely hope it gets better for you all that experience...
hey guys, I figured out what the problem was. Just wanted to update you all so you don’t run into the same problem. I had some third-party app that was scheduled for off peak charging. I uninstalled it and zero problems since then. it was not the garage door or the cable being closed on top of it.
yes, originally I tried closing the door several times and couldn’t get it to close properly and just left it open and it still wouldn’t work at the time
Working perfectly I think when I closed the garage on top of the cable that’s when it would stop. I just ended up squeezing both EVs inside and both charge flawlessly. Appreciate everyone’s insight/recs.
No error messages except connect cable. I did the double scroll reset As well, I went through the logs in the service menu and no abnormalities. If this keeps happening I will schedule a service appt.
I even have the Ting device which looks for any electrical anomalies in the home and no issues were noted even when both EVs were charging at the same time.
no heat but it worked ok when i tried the last time, i also didn’t close the garage on top of the cable which may have been the issue. I also charged at work and it was fine as well.
Hey guys this seems to be a new issue that just began. I have a non-foundation Cyberbeast and I have two Tesla Universal Connectors installed in my garage for our Model Y and CB. Today, regardless of which connector I used to charge the truck it will stop within a few minutes. They’re snuggly...
update I disabled my sentry mode for five hours and let the truck sit there while I was at work and reenabled everything and everything works back to normal including FSD.
So i did the toggle sentry on and off and it worked as GPS map seems to be working but my FSD won’t work now. I am going to leave sentry off for 5-6 hours and then retry it.
I literally just gave in and signed up for the 10 year MyQ subscription, only good thing is it works on my wife’s Model Y so I just accepted it. It has worked flawlessly with opening and closing on based on geolocation. You can have as many tesla vehicles on the same account.
