Jeep JK Wrangler owner here -- like the idea of the full spare being mounted on some type of heavy-duty, swing-out, rear-bumper-mounting design (like the Jeep picture above...)
Being the finance-geek that I am, the RWD Cybertruck at USD$39,990 will be the cheapest way for us (Wifey and me) to get a Tesla -- plus I want a truck bed for those events to haul crap back and forth....even the AWD at USD$49,990 is extremely competitive and cheaper versus just any full-size...
I would drop from an AWD down to a RWD (dollars saved) in order to acquire the all solar roof that gets 30 miles per day, sitting in the hot Houston sun....or probably just buy a 2nd Cybertruck = better
I'm curious which reviewers rated those above-listed Duelers as a "9.x" in the rain/wet conditions -- had a set on my Jeep JK Wrangler and they were terrible in Houston (heavy rain/wet driving is a weekly event...)
I will need to trust Elon on this -- if he's stating the interior capacity will be reduced by about 1.5% = I can live with that...the rear leg room for a F-150 Super Crew is about 43.6 inches; with his 1.5% reduction (just to the rear leg room) that would come to about 43 inches...
Over the holidays, I was catching major ridicule/grief from the naysayers when I told them about my CT reservation...However, during one of the last heated arguments, I was floored when Wifey jumped into the conversation/discussion and said, "...he's not trading in the Jeep; we're trading in the...
This morning, it was cold (for here in Houston), and my Jeep Wrangler was low on oil -- had to survive the Houston cold tundra conditions and add a quart ..........can't wait until I never have to mess with that again. Fingers are crossed that the CT production schedule arrives well before its...
All 538 Congressmen/women had a chance to really grow the EV industry by extending the federal tax credit -- is anyone really surprised the resolution/extension failed (based on Congress's recent track record)?
How freakin' tall is Elon? I never paid much attention, but the above pic makes him look 7' tall (since the top of CT is 6'3") My 5'10" @$$ isn't going to have any headroom restrictions...
Thanks SEER -- I may switch from RWD to dual AWD and cough up the extra $10K...
But the finance part of me keeps saying I'm paying $4K for AWD/4x4 (just like ICE trucks) and $6K to get the mileage bump from 250 to 300
