  1. Cybertruck bodies?

That's a great catch... Would it be so out of the question to think they might have CT bodies on sight for calibration of machines? fingers crossed,
  2. Where can I buy 30x cold rolled stainless steel for testing?

Take your blood pressure meds, relax. I also am pretty sure I just stated that OP shooting steel and posting results is a fine idea, so idk where you're getting that from. ?‍♂️ if you take issue with others telling strangers online to be careful when shooting steel, then idk what to tell you...
  3. Where can I buy 30x cold rolled stainless steel for testing?

Previously you stated "WRONG, almost never does it come back "... that is incorrect, and is dangerous for someone who doesn't understand the potential for spall to come back and hit them in the face. This potential for lead to come back at you especially increases on softer steel that might...
  4. Where can I buy 30x cold rolled stainless steel for testing?

This is dangerously incorrect. You can have ricochet of bullet fragments from shooting a steel target that can be severe enough to embed into your skin, or god forbid you aren't wearing eye-pro, blind you for life. The entire bullet will fragment when it hits steel, it's not like you'll have an...
  5. Cybertruck bodies?

The two packages on the left do kinda look like CT bodies, the right package not so much... likely wishful thinking, but one can dream
  6. 7/19 CT Production Rumors

^^^ This... Their casting machines on site are for the model Y, we have already seen numerous test batches (or actual batches?) of rear castings sitting around on the site. I do not believe they will start with the CT, as much as I wish it were true... all indicators are pointing to MY being...
  7. Self park into/out of garage?

yeah that would be a good alternative. Rather than wireless charging, the "pad" simply draws the car into alignment, and then some sort of arm raises up to contact charging points on the underneath of the car. Anyway, I digress... I just hope that autopark becomes a little more fast/efficient...
  8. Self park into/out of garage?

I'd imagine this would be extremely easy to do with wireless charging pads. Idk if that's still something they plan to do anytime soon. Given the length of the CT this autopark feature will probably be a must for a lot of people... I just don't look forward to waiting for it to drive at...
  9. Latest From Musk: Production Cybertruck almost exactly same but better. No door handles. 4 wheel steering. Self opening doors.

Aside from just facial recognition (if that is the meaning behind Elon's tweet), wouldn't your phone typically trigger the door to open when within a certain proximity? idc about handles vs no handles personally, that's far from a big deal to me, but I'll take whatever works best.
  10. Glass Topper is a SHOW STOPPER !

For what it's worth, every time I've driven a Tesla I forget that there is a glass roof over my head... it's pretty heavily tinted and doesn't really allow much noticeable light through it, I'd be very surprised if you found it to be distracting. as for preferring PV Cells in place of the...
  11. How are you planning to pay ... cash, lease, loan?

I probably should've been more pointed in my use of the word asinine. What I mean is it would be asinine for me. Other people in different walks of life will 100% have different reasons for buying outright or financing, etc.
  12. How are you planning to pay ... cash, lease, loan?

I plan to save up my downpayment to hit a point where my monthly payment fits my budget. I am young enough that I am fine with being leveraged when it comes to low interest debts. Saving up $70k in cash (or from selling my portfolio) to dump into a car is asinine, opportunity cost is a very...
  13. Maybe CT autopilot + Starship

I don't know what you're getting at.... but count me in
  14. Tesla should contact customers in RESERVATION # ORDER, regardless of motor choice... right?

A few months ago I changed from Dual to Tri motor on my reservation. My res number stayed the same for whatever that's worth. I agree that clarity from Tesla would be great, but I don't think they're really keeping any info from us, I genuinely would place my bets that they simply don't know...
  15. Any updates?

Colorado front range resident as well... solar tonneau aside, I am happy that my CT will be able to withstand hail better than my house likely can :)
  16. Hoping for a Cybertruck update June 10

I would agree with you, while also having to recognize my massive bias in this scenario... for all I know there's a Tesla Semi forum and people are equally as obsessed... but, I'm biased and I don't care.
  17. Hoping for a Cybertruck update June 10

One opinion I heard was that a roadster update could overshadow the Plaid release... Others have said that it is a perfect opportunity to discuss the Roadster... I could see it going either way I am obviously biased, I hope we get a CT update, it's been long overdue, people have some pretty...
  18. Cybertruck UI patent hints at 610 mile range, eye tracking mirror adjustments, 20" suspension travel

Lighting can certainly have a massive effect, but the top photo just looks like such a matte finish, it's almost hard to believe they are the same prototype... maybe they are though, honestly who knows
  19. Turo experience

My wife and I rented a performance M3 a month and a half ago, it was great. Test driving is one thing (we've done that too with a performance MY and MX), but getting to have a long weekend with a Tesla was a much more immersed experience. Taking it to a super charger, getting to see the range...
  20. Hey cybertruckers

apparently Elon really wasn't kidding when he said the CT looks like CGI in real life...
