    Middle Seat Airbag problem

How do all the other fullsize trucks do it? I don't think any of them have a "center" airbag. The frontal (driver/passenger) airbags are large and probably almost cover the middle area completely.

Why I'm Getting The F150 Lightning

With a family of five, I try to avoid the cost of flying if possible, plus I kind of like to look at the scenery, usually.

    Fifth Wheel

You won't be able to tow a standard 5th wheel with it, unless the sail panels are removable, IMHO. So, I would consider that first, even if it can take the weight.

HYUNDAI EGG COMPACT PICKUP TRUCK with spare tire.

Not sure why the author thinks the battery will be in the front of the vehicle instead of the rear... Obviously not familiar with EVs, battery would likely be under middle of vehicle, like almost every other EV...

Configurations and Pricing Removed From Cybertruck Website!

What price increase? I haven't seen anything but panicked know nothings speculating about price increases. Not saying it won't happen, but it's certainly not known if there will be a change for CT reservation holders. Please post a link to the price increase, if one has been announced.

    Let's talk seat construction

Can be accomplished by the shape of the frame and the shape of the foam, otherwise basically the same as other car seats.

Guess what the quad motor Cybertruck will cost?

I predict quad motor is $69,900 and replaces the original tri motor...

Rumored Cybertruck Configurations - Dual, Quad, and PLAID

No Interest in Plaid/performance variant. The only things that would interest me are increased range, and maybe some off road suspension/traction improvements

? [Update: NOT Production Wiper] New Cybertruck design spied! Shortened front, no door handles, side mirrors, curved windshield glass! [Dec. 10]

Another member had mentioned that an ATV could park on their roll up tonneau cover, so that seems like it could be strong enough to walk on.

Why rolling vault cover should be replaced by rigid sliding vault cover. Optionally made of cold-rolled 30x stainless steel.

Definitely not interested in a single 3mm steel panel. You referred to only needing a 3-5mm space to store in the ceiling. That means this piece of steel has no reinforcements or supports. Even if it's strong, it would probably have oil canning and buffeting might be a problem. Frankly, this...

    Aftermarket rock / skid plate?

If Matt's Morvair can't go straight up that mountain, there's zero chance a Hummer will be able to. I'm amazed that the critics of that driver, indicate they pore over road maps, satellite maps, Street view maps, and contour maps, and zoom in to the most detailed photos of every inch of every...

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

As to number 1 and number 3, should not be too difficult to solve those issues with some engineering (which apparently they have done, at least at the prototype level). As to number 2, there are already similar tonneau covers (horizontal surface) that have been in use for probably at least a...

Roller Bed Cover Might Be Leaving

Thousands (probably ten or hundreds of thousands) of commercial trucks, service trucks, fire engines, etc, have roll up/slat doors. It's not new in any sense. Just a new application/version. I believe they are usually made of aluminum. The cases the doors roll up into are larger than you...

Brakes and Tires last how long?

I use Bridgestone Ecopia 422 plus tires on my electric cars (Leaf, Bolt), they have a 60 or 70k tread warranty. Looks like they will last close to that with my driving. Not too worried about it. 70k+ on Leaf now and original brakes are still going strong! Hoping this experience will transfer...

? Quad Motor Cybertruck and Crab Walk (Independent Front & Rear Wheel Steering) Confirmed!!

I always thought of the original as: CT1=RWD CT2=Standard Range 4wd CT3=Long Range Performance 4wd I think now it is: CT2=RWD CT3= Standard Range 4wd CT4=Long Range Performance 4wd Price increases not necessarily needed. Would make a little more sense for "economies of scale", to drop the 3...
