When I use the rear-view mirror and/or camera, it is a quick glance to see what is behind me that I can't see in the side view mirrors. The current system, after the update, meets my needs. Your needs/results may vary. I would encourage everyone to at least give it a try.
Have not seen it mentioned yet, so I'll bring it up. The release notes showed the ability to zoom the rear view camera. I'm happy to report that this works very well for the rear-view mirror screen. The zoomed view is now very close to what a regular rear-view mirror would show. In my...
That VW picture takes me back! I had a 67 and a 71. The steering on both was very light, but you had to get used to having the front axle literally under your butt. They went around corners similar to an actual bus. Great fun, but they were so slow it could be dangerous. Thanks for sharing!

I am in complete agreement with your comments. I would also add that any aftermarket solution should include a streamlined housing for the rear camera. We shouldn't have to 3-D print one for ourselves.
Relax, folks. Since I picked mine up last week, the countdown clock for a price reduction has started ticking. Pricing cuts will come, some based on production efficiencies and some possibly based on a RWD version being available.
This happened after I bought my Model-3, and again after I...
