Mine is slightly worse than when I use ACC. I suspect it is due to FSD not maintaining speed properly. slowing down and speeding up is worse for range.
I agree. I was not happy when I saw the FS came with only a white interior option. Luckily grey became an option a few weeks before I placed my order. White in person looks tacky while the grey looks great!
I didn't finance mine, but the title still comes from the State (DMV, MVD or whatever they're calling themselves today). It took about 2 1/2 weeks to receive. The plate and registration showed up within a day or so of the title.
I get subtle steady-state velocity fluctuations. I find it annoying, but most passengers don't notice. It's really apparent if you watch the power meter at the left edge of the screen in conjunction with concentrating on feeling the velocity surges. My Y does the same thing, so hopefully it will...
FSD doen't seem to accelerate to the set speed if you engage FSD while driving slower than the set speed or if FSD slows down for some reason other than an intersection. It will gladly poke along at 10-20 mph under the set speed until you press the accelerator to attain said speed, after which...
I just run my first 30 miles on FSD in the CT. The steering, acceleration and braking all seem to be on par with my Model Y. It didn't seem to want to change lanes on its own though. It switches lanes after I initiate the turn signal.
I bought a lifetime subscription to SiriusXM back in 2009 for a stereo I had in my car. It came with lifetime access to their streaming app too. I've long since sold the car with the radio, but I've been using the streaming service for 15 years now. I think it was $500 at the time.
The truck is insulated from the ground by the rubber tires. I'd be surprised to find anything that moves through the wind and is insulated from the ground that doesn't show a charge difference. That's what static electricity is. Cat noses are especially susceptible to static discharge when...
The vast majority of the lane splitters I see are riding safely. However, there are always those few idiots out there who think they are impervious to laws, courtesy and accidents and their riding style shows it.
CHP’s Motorcycle Safety Program States:
Motorcycles should travel no more than...
If you're doing 80 and they're still splitting lanes, it's only a matter of time before they're smeared on a road somewhere anyway. It's not your fault they are stupid.
I can confirm this message...
Install took maybe 20 minutes, but half of that was making trips back and forth to the garage to find a ratchet/socket/extension combination that would work.
IMPORTANT: Watch the videos so you fully understand how the small dash corner trim comes on and off...
I'll save you all some install time and tell you you'll need a 13mm socket. A standard socket is too short. A deep socket is too long. I ended up using a 3/4 drive ratchet with a 3/8-to-1/4 adapter and then a standard 13mm socket....perfect length. :)
Surface of what? The tire contact patch is the same. The only thing that changes is a few dozen square inches of increased frontal area, all in the bit of greater tire exposure.
Yep, that's convenient and I like it. Tesla should make double-pressing the external driver door button unlock all doors and vault. They should also make a long-press of the unlock button in the app unlock all doors.
