  1. Truck dead, then resurrected: errors VCRIGHT_a220 low voltage and HVBATT_a046

I had something similar and it ended up being a faulty drive inverter they replaced. I got a loaner and it took them a week to get the part in and replace it under warranty.
  2. Locked Out-Be Careful (leaving phone in truck)

I drive out to the country on a weekly basis. When I get to the gate I set the truck to not lock. Even then I don’t really trust it with the phone in the car. But it makes me feel better if my phone were to die while I’m out there. I do keep a key card in my purse which tends to stay in the...
  3. Cybertruck meets Bubba truck

I kept my old truck for 3 months just in case, but I got in it one day and there were cobwebs. My Cybertruck replaced my 3 and my old working truck and it’s been great.
  4. How is tire alignment from the factory?

My 2018 Model 3 got 40,000 on each set of tires, but my Cybertruck got 18,000 with terrible wear on the front. I never felt anything different while driving, but it needed an alignment. I called many shops in the area, including those who regularly worked on Teslas, but none would touch it, so I...
  5. 40,000 mi 8 tires

I’m at 18,000 and my front two had very uneven wear that I should have noticed sooner. I replaced all with OEM and got an alignment. The backs were still pretty good, so I’m hoping I get around 30,000 on these.
  6. Video: FSD 14.2.1 driving in snow blizzard

If it’s damp on the road I want to go under the speed limit for safety. Sloth doesn’t give that option. And the Cybertruck can’t do basic lane keep like the other Teslas so I see the frustration. In my 3 when an FSD change happened that I didn’t like I fell back on TACC and lane keep. I dislike...
  7. Tire inflator test

Thank you for the comparisons. I have the S6 and it’s fine for the occasional airing I do. I like seeing all other options that are out there, though.
  8. Summon feature question for those of you who have other Teslas

I had summon with my 2018 Model 3. I used it to pull the car out of parking spaces to make it easier for my parents to get in the car with cars parked beside. I mostly used it at work in the winter when I didn’t want to walk to my car in the dark. Most days I’d have it come and pick me up at the...
  9. New FSD how to set a speed

I had similar issues a couple of years ago when FSD stopped using the radar in my Model 3. I did have the luxury of rolling back to no FSD and did. In that case without radar the car would stop at oncoming headlights, tar marks and other false positives. My husband refused to ride in the car if...
  10. Bed Clunk

Made me jump the other night when I was camping in the bed. But figured it was normal.
  11. FSD v14.1.7 saved my bacon today!

3 years ago my Model 3 with FSD did a similar swerve, and once saved me by stopping on a dark road when it ā€˜saw’ a truck with no tail lights stopped to turn left ahead of me way before I could. The tech was great then and continues to improve. I’m sold.
  12. Less control on FSD v14

I’ve done this at numerous locations and it didn’t change how the truck reacted. My local road has been fine for years and only with the last 2 quick updates has started acting up (and my road is so small it has no speed limit signs). I went through the removal of radar in my Model 3 which made...
  13. Less control on FSD v14

I have too many roads where the truck says speed is much higher than it actually is. Out of my driveway the speed is 25 and the truck posts 60. I guess I’ll wait on this update. I wish sloth were 10 below, chill was set speed, etc. and those speeds could at least be set in settings.
  14. Cybertruck FSD saves life of wrong-way driver (head on collision avoided)

Not my Cybertruck, but the Model 3. I did immediately slow when I saw the car in my lane coming towards me, disengaging FSD. But hard to read their mind so that I didn’t also try to pull over, which would have made things worse. In the end they lost control, crossed back over the road and jumped...
  15. Texas 4 used Core wheels/tires for spares $300 each

Yes, I will. They are in the DFW area. Jennifer
  16. Frunk sharp corner solution. No more head bangers!

I don’t think mine came with it. I’ve hit my head a couple of times and it hurt. I’ll order and add these. I’m trying the silver, but I will probably face that in. That looks better in your pictures.
  17. Camera visibility limited - every drive at sunrise or sunset

Darn I’m going in on Monday for an alignment and now I’m not sure if I should request they don’t do the cleaning. I rarely get a message.
  18. Texas 4 used Core wheels/tires for spares $300 each

4 OEM Pirelli 20ā€ wheels and tires off my Cybertruck. 18,000 miles on them. $300 each. I will include wheel covers if you want or sell separately for $25 each. They have TPMS.
  19. Show us an accessory we’ve never seen before! MFZ Challenge thread.

I do them for myself and have them printed up on vinyl. I have extras if you message. They are window clings I used to put on the front of my Model 3. For the truck I spray the back with repositionable tacky spray, because they don’t suction on like they did on the 3. They’re around $30 each...
