    Sound Deadening - Part 1

More specifically on this clip. I recommend adding some felt where the upper and lower shrouds meet.

    Sound Deadening - Part 1

Shouldn’t need to remove the shroud completely. Just try to add some closed cell foam to it since they tend to creak and make sounds especially over bumps

I didn’t, but the rear windows could use some adjustment. That’s next on my to do list.

    Sound Deadening - Part 1

I’ve thought about doing this, but what I have now is pretty dang good. But I may try this method out if I even disassemble the door again.

I'd suggest trying the "Clear Camera Calibration" in service mode. You can also do it outside of service mode: Controls > Service > Camera Calibration > Clear Calibration Another thing you could try is to let the truck to go to sleep by leaving it unplugged from the charger and undisturbed for...

    Sound Deadening - Part 1

    Sound Deadening - Part 1

Yes, there’s so much more that can be done. Next up is to put butyl and insulation on the rear cab wall to stop noise from the rear wheels and truck bed. I’m also gonna remove the door panels again to add insulation. A majority of the noise comes from the windshield and windows, which you can’t...

    Sound Deadening - Part 1

Before I did this my baseline reading at 70MPH on the highway was 65dB. It was pretty quiet. After putting down the butyl and foam mats it dropped down to 62dB. So I would say it’s noticeable, but I’m gonna try to make it quieter! 🤫

    Sound Deadening - Part 1

The clips on the door panel were being difficult, I’m surprised I didn’t break any in the process. Other than that it was pretty straightforward.

Shoutout to @ReidT22440 and @TeslaPatriot for the inspiration. I used some cheap butyl mats as the base, then went over that with Second Skin Damplifier Pro. The @Cybertruck door is SOLID! More pics below. I’ll finish up the rest of the doors tomorrow. šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø I only did the driver-side door...

The digital rearview has advantages over the existing rearview camera: Probably the top reason is that it's less susceptible to water since most people install it at top of the tonneau. There are covers you can purchase or print Helpful if you've got the tailgate down while hauling...
