  1. Hardwired fridge in frunk

Absolutely love this. Was contemplating doing the same and was hoping someone had done it before me! I’m thinking about mounting the DC/DC step down behind the frunk liner and drilling a hole to put a 12V outlet receptacle in the liner. This way it’s a clean install, basically same as if they...
  2. CyberTent (formerly Basecamp Tent) Camping for 2 Days Using DIY HVAC Solution - Takeaways (and reaction to other video)

Unfortunately with no 12V output and the AC outlets being configured in an "all-or-none" setup, CT is not well suited for charging or running small electronics for prolonged periods of time. ALL DC/AC inverters have idle power consumption. It is often a few percent of the maximum rated power...
  3. Cybertruck production possibly 900-1,000 weekly rate now, estimates Joe Tegtmeyer

There is absolutely no way the numbers are that low. You think over half of foundation reservation order holders have an account and registered on this site?! Zero chance. At best, *maybe* 10-15% are registered on here. I’m a day one reservation holder and I’m not registered. 4/5 of my...
  4. Early delivery of Foundation Series Cybertruck now available to long-term verified TSLA shareholder!

We really don’t know for sure if anything you said here is true. Shareholders requesting early delivery may very well be placed in line after people who have already paid. No timeline was given.
  5. 60 days+ and still waiting for a VIN

Bro, go outside, enjoy the day. Whining doesn’t help anyone or speed up anything.
  6. 2 weeks of Cybertruck ownership and happy with range numbers. You'll be very happy.

No, if you don’t drive the range approaches zero while the battery slowly discharges and your kWh/mile goes off the chart.
  7. Scratch and Sniff - Cybertruck Show & Tell From Hands-On Seat Time in Showroom

Wonderful pics, thank you for sharing. Love to see real world examples of Tesla already making small improvements in real time, as they always do.
  8. Buying the FS CT Isn't Logical

Totally agree. Early adopters know what they are doing and why it’s worthwhile for many reasons :)
  9. Cybertruck deliveries in Irvine!

I’m fairly certain all non-Tesla employee beast orders said mid-late 2024 delivery estimate. AWD estimate was early 2024.
  10. Getting cold feet. Vin Assigned, pickup anyday. What to do?

Elon has also gone on record previously about not doing V2G in their vehicles, and yet PowerShare is now being delivered.
  11. Just Ordered My Foundation Series Allocation! Post Your Invitations / Order Confirmations! 🙌

I’m not sure that bit about crawling is true. The two rear motors are virtually lockable in the tri motor vs mechanical locking in the dual. The end result is likely the same.
  12. Just Ordered My Foundation Series Allocation! Post Your Invitations / Order Confirmations! 🙌

I have yet to see a legitimate source for this other than pure speculation which keeps getting repeated and treated as fact.
  13. Just Ordered My Foundation Series Allocation! Post Your Invitations / Order Confirmations! 🙌

Why would you assume that? I keep seeing people say 1000, but can’t seem to find where this figure came from?
  14. 10 Cybertrucks will be delivered at the Delivery Event on Nov 30, says Tesla product design director, Javier Verdura

Yes, the pile of castings has been documented to turn over completely at least once for sure.
  15. Videos: best look yet @ interior, folded-up backseat, tonneau cover, display screen UI, range meter

Well 6% to go 16 miles suggests total range ~270 miles. It looks like it’s interstate driving so usage may be higher. Based on prior speculation of 0.4kWh per mile that would put the pack size just over 100kWh. The charge rate of 77kWh @ 71% also supports pack size around 100kWh as the MX...
  16. Photos: water leak testing + latest front castings (11/8/23)

Wiper sweep end points can be adjusted and calibrated. Looks like the one on the right needs to be recalibrated.
