No power in frunk would be such a HUGE miss.
One of the best use cases for the frunk is a plug in beer/food cooler thatās easy to access on road trips or job sites when the bed is full of gear or materials. Iād be happy even just with a 12V outlet up there. But 120 would be super useful as...
āAs good or better than the Model X.ā
Our X LR+ is rated for 371 miles range. When towing our large non-aerodynamic boat at 70mph it can not make it 100 miles. Usually anvergaes about 1.2kWh/mile consumption. Going 55mph consumption drops to about 0.85kWh/mile but on the busy interstate going...
At first I thought the rattling on big bumps was the truck, but after listening longer it seems more likely it was gear and stuff in the vehicle bouncing around.
If you scrub the video quickly forward and backward just after the 12:00 mark you can get a great sense on range of travel for air suspension. Goes from lifted high to pretty low fairly quick.
Definitely a voltmeter.

Not necessarily. If you look closely, the EcoFlow isnāt hooked directly to the jumper cables. It is plugged into an electrical box with multiple cooling fans which I strongly suspect is a DC/DC boost converter that is stepping the 12V output from the EcoFlow up to the 48V needed by the truck...
He gives it a tug, then it closes on its own. I donāt think we can rule out powered frunk just yet. If anything, this seems to suggest it may be powered after all.
Yāall know the X is several inches wider than the Y right?!? That should tell you all you need to know about the angles and distortion here.
The number of people whining about the size of the CT relative to the other vehicles in this thread is just embarrassing.
