If you drive 25 mph, you'll get 500 mile range, even further downhill. Towing will probably suck for all the EV pickups, so there goes 2% of the market. My 19M3 has a +300 mile range, so far no issues. Will drive from Houston to upstate NY this month, so we will let ya know how it goes. Ask...
Not sure how the Rivian fits your freakishly tall frame better than CT, but do us all a favor, buy the Rivian. Good luck with their untried vehicles, especially batteries! That $5k kitchen sink is a great value, on top of the $70k sticker. ? NOT! So that's a $75k skid steer?
I've Never worked for a Union, know plenty of people with decent union pensions. IMHO, the drawback to unions is they are contracted to crappy management corporations, i.e. Ford, GM ,etc. Failure corporations fail their workers first.
We'll know when we know. Till then it's all speculation. CT reservation numbers will have little relevance bcause cash is king! Plus Tesla will offer up the CT they can produce first. Look at new M3s today, ya take the MFP battery, delivery next week. Don't take the MFP battery, delivery next year.
I'm still in! Wife&Me still rockin' our 19M3/LR/DM/FSD. We'll get to watch all the legacy OEM manufacturer EV failures. Like the Bolt/Kona fireballs, watch all these shooting stars flame up. I'm hoping the EV producers like Rivian and Lucid have better luck, but they'll have their own teething...
Little simplified, and show me a picture of that house switch board plug into the Lightning HV system. Me thinks there's a piece of hardware missing here.
Why would Tesla compete power wall with EVs? Can you say conflicting biddness model?
Buy these legacy EV newbie vehicles, but be warned...
Glass roof is not a sun roof. We screened our 19 TM3/DM/FSD roof window for $30 because it was too hot in Houston. We didn't use the rear screen, haven't had many passengers back there, but no complaints. Solar panel would be better, but would cost $thousand$. Better off upgrading battery...
As a 19TM3 owner, I know being down the line means you'll get a vastly improved CT. I'm patient, the Tesla experience is a continuing improving process, and that's the best difference between the rest of the OEMs.
Sold my 13 Volt before the battery warranty expired last month. Sold to Carvana for $12K, a lot better than i thought it would sell for. Wife and me down to her 19Md3/DM/FSD, which is car aplenty! Have ordered Zoom electric scooter to commute about 1 mile. Will couple scooter with CT for...
Will also equip CT with toaster oven (thanks CT guy), portable refridge, ice maker, microwave, solar shower bag (with some sort of davit hanger), dry toilet, 5gallon water containers with dispensing attachment, and a rollable solar panel to offset the living power consumption. Suggestions?
