Any updates on a solid DIY fix? Even with trim tools I can't get the rear plastic off the center console to investigate.

Update, part in transit still. Due to arrive next week so I got my truck back for now. Ended up cutting off the seal as it was flopping around violently at highway speeds, and I didn't feel comfortable retracting tonneau, lest it gets caught and leads to a track alignment problem.

Same issue. Also cropped up around 1300mi on serial 102xx. Ended up giving the bottommost rear center console panel a good smack with the palm and that seems to have solved it for now.

Mine is also in service for the exact same issue. I was told a new part is ordered and won't arrive for another week. Oddly, the part they quoted in the estimate is 'SLAT SYSTEM - TONNEAU(1906561-00-D) which I believe to be the entire cover. On the plus side, really enjoying FSD on a loaner...

Had an appointment for May 31st, but Tesla Service just notified me due to parts supply they've rescheduled..... to July 18th! Totally insane, and tonneau slat seals just keep getting worse with each mile. I'm ready to dump this thing.

Picked mine up in the pouring rain, outdoor delivery, and didn't notice until the weather cleared up that my tonneau looks just like this. So frustrating, and I'm too afraid to retract the cover with a slat seal in this condition. Almost a whole month to get a service appointment in my area.
