I have the same noise issue. Also 40-60 most noticeable. And seemingly more when cold. Mine goes away on a gradual left curve. But is present on straight away or right hand curve. I call it a whistling or rustling noise. Definitely up front somewhere.
Really? The solar needs an AC line reference to work. The inverter on the truck only works in one direction at a time.... if it is charging, it won' put out power, and vice versa.
I have actually been able to contact Tesla (miracle of miracles) and they indicate it awaits a firmware update from their end. Not a screwed up installation. Now, if maybe somehow they didn't know you have solar, somehow you got the "enable button" added to your CT. The CT has to positively...
I am still waiting for my Powershare to be enabled, to handle my solar too. But I got tired of waiting. So I installed a 50 Amp generator socket on the wall in my garage on a 60 A breaker on my sub panel. Just disconnected from the grid manually for a test. Hooked a cable from the 240v outlet in...
Today Tesla service figured it out. The stainless trim that runs down from the front window to the base of the windshield, on the left side, is held in place (apparently) by several bolts. The tech tightened the nut closest to the front, by two turns (it was loose). Now the noise is gone...
That is weird. I have a similar brake light plugged into the hitch, and using the 4-pin power connection there. It does indeed think I should be in Trailer Mode..... which I go ahead and enable. Then FSD still works just fine for me.
I am in the same boat. Still no button on the truck to enable powershare. Also, I have no Powerwall. But I think there is a bigger problem. In a power outage, you can't send excess solar back out to the grid. So for example, if your house is pulling 3 kW, whether from the truck or from solar...
Well, a strange whistling/rustling sound, proportional to speed, noticeable between 30-50 mph (after 50 mph, wheel noise dominates), has been bugging me for months now. It goes away when going on a gradual left curve, but not straight or right turn. It is more noticeable with slight...
If you go to settings on Powershare, what is the version number on your Gateway firmware? I am still waiting for mine to be made "working", also after a week.
