I agree on making it harder than it needs to be. I did some overthinking when I first got mine. I didn't know what to expect. Saying that, what is your typical care routine? When removing iron?
I have same and will try 303. How do you keep it from washing off in rain and leaving drip marks? I wipe it on and buff off. I don't leave it wet like an armor all type product.
During my last SC in Raleigh they only replaced the driver side. I was expecting them to do both sides. Ironically, all my minor cosmetic issues are on driver's side.
Driver's side? Mine was driver's side. They ended up replacing it on the recall stuff. Just the driver's side though. During delivery they mentioned super glue but I think once he said it he knew it didn't sound like a good fix a new car buyer wanted to hear.
Wow! Definitely adding it to my service request. It's growing. Creaking console/seat, crooked tonneau cover, roof applique bowing in sun and stains on frunk. Another all day SC visit.
That's an odd "normal". I'm adding it to my service request too. I'll give calibration a try. I did back it off a nudge with the controls to make it disappear.
I will add issue to my upcoming service ticket in October. Let me know what the tell you. Damn time is flying. I will also see if I can find the thread. I was going to try calibration but it's sounds like that's not very fruitful?
I thought about popping this off as you did and then loosening the clips to see if they would shift ever so slightly forward. How hard was it to pop off? I tried my best to see any difference between the two sides since the passenger side doesn't have the issue.
