I had this done and came home with an extra bar across the rear window? I still can't get an answer if it's correct or a new blunder. I still have ingress. I think all I need was the new sail with rubber flap.
I had mine in for service about this. Below is the repair note. Not much to go on but they adhered the frame or something. It does seem better. I don't feel warm and fuzzy about the fix though.

I haven't looked at myself yet. I am not sure what frame was adhered. I just didn't want anything wrong with the subwoofer itself. They taped a frame to stop the rattling and said it was due to a part rework and I would get the new part at some point. We'll see.
